An old friend of mine once told he that it doesn't matter whether they are cheering ya or booing ya just so long as they aren't sitting on their hands and doing nothing (this applies not only to the rest of the MAC but also to a lot of our "fans" at the JAR who look like they are at a retirement home during the game). I find it just a little ironic that MAC fans complained complained complained about us being one of the teams that brought the MAC down from a competitive standpoint and how we needed to step it up to make the MAC better. Now that we have they complain complain complain about us beating them.

Fact of the matter is that outside of Peterson the whole TEAM stunk up the JAR in the first half. There was no energy on either side of the court and the mistakes were happening far too frequently. We were far to content to just stand around and pass the ball around the arch on offense, we were missing or just not taking open shots, we weren't trying to penetrate at all and we shot an amazing 23% from the field in the first half. Kind of fitting that it was 23% b/c the only guy who COULD hit a shot was #23 Daryl Peterson. On defense Can't was just manhandling us inside. They could go to the bucket any time they wanted to with any player they wanted to. We just stood there and watched them in general and many times decided to just foul them at the last second and give them that 3 point play. That said KD must have chewed those guys out something major in the locker room at the half because that was an entirely different team that showed up in the second half and it was evident from the start. As for Dials I think getting his bell rung might have just knocked the light on because the opening minutes of the second half he was superb and he was nothing but solid the rest of the way.

Who is it that is saying DeWill's work ethic is in question and his stock is falling? The only reason his stock might be falling is that guys like Manny Lawson (DE-NC State) Vernon Davis (TE-Maryland) and Brodrick Bunkley (DT-Florida St.) are rising up with huge combines (Davis is a physical phreak at 6'5" and running a sub 4.40 time along with impressing in reciever drills and on the bench press as a TE at the combine). Williams is easily ahead of LenDale White as the #2 back behind Reggie Bush in this draft.

That is never going to work, it will just turn into a big blob of (I'm assuming) piss yellow and blue. I still don't understand the screw the roo thing. Guess beastiality just isn't my cup of tea.

Anyone else find it ironic that we get ripped on by people in the MAC for being what they feel is an "academically inferior school" and yet it is programs like Can't, NIU and Toledo that lose scholarships and not us?

Actually Miami hockey also achieved a #1 ranking a few weeks back and I believe CMU wrestling also did. We were definitley the first though.

yeah, macbbs is pretty much a joke. Basketball season it is one giant ego stroking session for Can't and OU. Football season it is entirely devoted to flame wars between Toledo and BG. But it is better than that mattsledge site. Now THAT is a joke of a site.

I don't think they would be able to get into the rowdies, or even the lower bowl for that matter (with the exception of maybe a couple season ticket holders or players family types). With the card swipe and arm bands they would have to get really tricky to make it into the AK-Rowdies. Far too much intelligence required for their level.

Ok, ok, I know Can't isn't very intelligent nor are they real original but after the stunt we pulled on them in their house you know they are going to try to come up with something in retaliation. As a student I try to make it to as many games as I can. I missed the WMU game because I was sick and will tonight for the same reason. Sitting in with the Rowdies yelling and cheering just isn't good on a sore throat and a headache and I refuse to go sit up in the bleachers and not cheer. I did that once this year and it was a real drag. I'm gonna see what I can do about Ohio and Can't though and I will be making the drive up to Cleveland for at least one night of the tourney.
