  1. I actually heard the sent back a bunch of shirts they had ordered too...Can't StateEst 1910Pubicly Rank
  2. If you all remember we saw the Badger forum do a "say something nice about your opponent" we had mentioned starting a similar trend here. Well what better way then to start with our most hated rival Can't.So let's see... My something nice about Can't...Hmm...Ok, well hippie skanks like to put out, if you don't mind the VD...Oh, I don't think anyone on their field hockey team has had a police altercation yet..
  3. Ah yes, the Can't State "Piss Out" is what I believe you are referring to. I believe JD had a similar comment to this as Nick Saban did to Georgia's Black out."It's appropriate that they are wearing yellow to their golden shower." - perhaps JD Brookhart (I might have made most of this up)
  4. Try this one...Men's Diving
  5. I think we need Greg Luganis to helps us with a men's diving program. The uniforms could totally be little gold bottoms with the stylilized swash buckling Z on the back of them.Nothing gayer than that.
  6. This is great news. I'm glad that Johnson is ok.
  7. But don't get me wrong. I am all for utilizing old school uniforms. The Blue and True Gold uniforms that we wore in the Can't St snow bowl game were awesome. But the old school uni's be should saved as alternate uniforms. We play Can't at home, pull out the old school uniforms. We manage to convince YSU to play at the info so we can have a home game before the end of summer, pull out the old school uniforms. But for the rest of the season yes the Roo-A and the sleek modern styled uniforms are the way to go.
  8. The 12000 is your average attendance after 2 games. The 15.8k in Youngstown is the average attendance after 3 games.And.....YAWN!!!!!!!!!Is the average response to anything regarding YSU outside of Youngstown. Give it a rest already.
  9. Sorry but the Roo-A is the sole reason that we have any merchandise sales. People were buying that before we even won the MAC Championship. It's sleek and stylish. The problem is most of you are stuck in the old school. The program (all programs for that matter) needed a new look. Mostly because we have no winning tradition. For the most part it has helped.Thisis so much more appealing to youth then this"A" lacks brand identity. Especially since we have little tradition at the school. The Roo-A logo gives us a brand identity. It seperates us from Auburn, Arkansas, Alcorn and all the other generic A logos that actually have some winning tradition and recognition. Now as for new uniforms. Especially if we end up getting Nike. I say we go with the Colorado style...
  10. Except it was the Big 10 officials that run the instant replay review that made that decision not the Big East officials. I believe he was referring to the Big East officials that blow a whistle too early that it hurts a potential fumble call and therefore negates any instant replay. When that play was under review it was under review for the spot not the fumble. The Big East officials who blow a whistle late and risk getting one of our receivers injured after he was grabbed by two people and pushed back 5 yards only to be smacked by the Cinci D-end. Yes we could have won that game, if we kicked a field goal, or if we made the other field goal we attempted. That's 6 points and a win. Or if we make the 2 extra points instead of getting one blocked and failing on a two point conversion. That makes 8 points. But what if Brian Kelly decides to kick the field goal on 4th and inches instead of going for it only to get stuffed. Or what if he decides to punt instead of trying on 4th and 3 only be stuffed again. Both teams had chances to win. But only Akron had chances ruined by the officiating. The problem is Akron had more chances to win then Cincinnatti and we ended up not being successful. My biggest take away is that perhaps this game and Army (lost 21-17 to Texas A&M) is an indication of an improved defense. If so, we have an extremely nice chance of a 7-5 or better season.
  11. So then does that mean that the Nittany Lions should be number 1? PSU 45 OrSU 14. I'm just pointing out that football is football. Anything can happen on any given day. That's the beauty of it.
  12. It will especially be a jewel during night games.
  13. Apparently it's really a binturongIt eat's primarily fruit and is kept as a pet by some Malaysians.Fear the Binturong?!?Again Huge Cuteness factor
  14. I believe it's this cute little kitten
  15. That's a reluctant 7th too.
  16. Try walmart, Kohls, steve & barry's, the University Book Stores. It's not as hard to find now-a-days. So sorry they have no excuse.Call me crazy, but shouldn't a University employee walk across the street the OBC and say "How many shirts do you need, and what size?" Then, about 25 minutes later, walk in and say "Here are "X" shirts, free of charge. All we ask is that you wear them on game day. Thanks for your support."Then walk out the door, into the sunset. In a perfect world yes. Hell I'm about to find out how to buy bulk Zips gear and drop off a box for them.

  18. Prayers go out to Dante, his family, and friends.
  19. Since no one else has done itLess than 1 year until we are playing at the Info!!!!!
  20. I counted 20 rows for the lower level. Anyone know how that compares to other stadiums?
  21. They haven't won squat either. What were Temple and Buffalo's records last year? The year before?Apparently Cap, a lot of people see winning 4 more games as improvement.Buffalo 2005 1-10 Beat Can't StateBuffalo 2006 2-10 Beat Temple; Can't StateBuffalo 2007 5-7 Beat Temple; Ohio; Toledp; Akron; Can't StateTemple 2005 0-11Temple 2006 1-11; Beat BGSUTemple 2007 4-8 Beat NIU; Akron; Miami (OH); Can't StateSo where is this vast improvement? How are these teams the new "class of the MAC"? Oh and as you can see for yourself
  22. Yay! the first signs of the top levels go up.
  23. "The team is what we thought it was!!!!" Dennis GreenThere is talent, and youth. The O-line can be solid, the defense is week in the middle. I thought we would beat Syracuse, I knew Ball State would be tough and prayed for bad weather conditions. Unfortunately my worst fear (that Moorehead could not adjust the offense to run the f-ing ball in wet conditions) was realized. I wish we could have seen Bain play already. And I also knew that as people ran up the middle on a week defensive line that does not require more than one person to block each lineman people would say the 3-3-5 is the fault. No guys, week d-lineman, the reason we only use 3 to begin with is the fault. You add a fourth week d lineman, you take away speed and now instead of getting blasted for a 5-9 yard gain between the guard and center, you are getting blasted for a 5-9 yard gain between the guard and tackle. The D-line has to make itself known, it has to make opponents assign multiple blockers to individuals. Otherwise, a team can run. It doesn't matter if you have 3 D-lineman or 6 if you can block them one on one and move them where you want a team will run on you for huge numbers.I think if the D-line get's healthy, and Bain plays, we could be bowl eligible. I think if we continue to get the same play from the D-line we end up with another 5-7 year.
  24. I was getting curious as to what it's working on myself. It seems to be solely focusing on the northern side of the structure between it and the field house. So perhaps possible bridge steel, but I would have thought the bridge would be done near the end of the project.
  25. I was thinking the other day. We have kind of a "Circle of Honor" at the Rubber Bowl, honoring Dennison, Taylor and a few others. Has anyone heard if these names will be added to the stadium in someway? For instance the front wall of the upper stands. I think it would be kind of cool to see the names like that.
