Not me. I said the team had more athletic ability than any other Zips team that I had ever seen. I didn't expect a team that had lost so much senior leadership, especially in the backcourt, to win the MAC regular season title.

Here is an interesting article on whats happened to the once great UCLA program. Special Report: Not the UCLA Way I don't think KD has lost the program, but this is what can happen when you start going after players based on just athletic ability.

I'm pretty sure he has done it every year. We need to come out and establish a defensive mindset from the beginning of the game. I would guess the team won't be going to any more movies on the night before the game.

Some of the posters here seem to think that the players are some kind of robots or objects in a video game that the coach can manipulate at will. All they are is a bunch of kids and young adults playing a game. I would love for the Zips to win every game , but sometimes the other team just plays better. Bottom line for me is the reality that they are just human, the coaches too.

No...not in the first half at least. KD said the plan was to double team Mauvunga and that left 14 open. Once KD changed the game plan at the half, 14was rendered irrelevent.

I would think that the Zips match up well with Morrison. We have at least 3 guys who should be able to cover him pretty well without having to double team.

If we see Bo Boroski on the screen, we're screwed!

There are some big changes going on at the ABJ in regards to how they view their position in todays media. I think they have decided that they should cover more local stories and stop trying to be major player on the state and national news. This bodes well for the Zips and other local institutions. George seemed very sincere in his desire to really get some good in depth coverage and left with a few tidbits of information that might find its way into some future stories. Overall a good experience for all involved, I would expect it to happen again.
