I'm not implying the MJ is not a good coach. My post was to counter a few things that were said in other members posts about a lack of support from UA.

1. WBB has the 3rd highest budget overall only behind football and MBB. It's even higher than MSOC. 2. WBB has a FT strenght coach. Name one team in the MAC with a dedicated Strength Coach Full time for WBB only. Not shared with other sports. 3. WBB has shelled out 10k for money games for teams to play us. 4. WBB charters on flights in league when most teams are riding the bus. These are just a few of the things that show the level of support for WBB from Athletics administration at Akron.

The NCAA rifle national championship tourney will be held at the JAR in March. The top8 teams are invited and the Zips currently sit at #10. They have some big matches in the next few weeks that could propel them into the top 8. Zips got totally screwed by the MAC on the schedule. Kent got the bottom feeders for the double games.

I think Charles has plenty of respect for Melissa and the job she has done with the team. My observation of Charles is he wants winning programs. Especially for the 4 high profile programs, MBB, WBB, Football and MSOC. In her first 4 seasons as HC she had just one with a winning record in MAC play. Melissa just needs to keep winning.

EMU should have hired Charles Thomas as their coach instead of washed up Stan Heath.
