What a great night for Keith! To become the winningest coach in program history and do at your hometown school and Alma mater! I know he is very proud. However I would bet that he is just as proud that virtually every single player that stayed with the program has a degree. Both members of this years senior class(Dog,Kwan) have already graduated and are working towards their Masters degree. After all, thats why we have collegiate athletics, right?

I saw a BG team that was very motivated to end a 16 game losing streak against the Zips. I'm pretty sure their coach had them convinced they could sneak up on us after our 12 day layoff.

You forgot that we already signed Eric Parrish (6-6,SF) to one of those open scholarships. If Jackson does decide to come to Akron I'm sure KD find a way to make room for him on the team. I don't see or hear anything about Frankie Hughes transfering in the media right now. Lets just be happy if we get Jackson.

I put this on the same level as Texs losing to Kent.

I'm pretty sure he is on our radar. We potentially have four scholarships available after next year (Noah, Antino, Aaron, Craig).

Thank you all the work you've done over the years to keep all of us MAC basketball fans entertained. When I tried to log onto the site the other day and saw that it had gone away I was disappointed. I hope that you find the time and energy to bring it back soon.

Baring injury we should be able to win every single game the rest of the way. None of those games will be even close to the contests we faced in Omaha or Spokane. Anything can happen on the road so I think 15-3 could be a possibility.

Can you really blame him? It was very obvious last year that no matter how well he played he wasn't in the mix.

Of all the tournaments I have attended with Zips MBB this was by far the nicest. The volunteers did a great job of making the team and us fans feel right at home. Great hospitality area.

There was a decent crowd for the home team in the second game. They started showing up after halftime of our game. I would say the attendance figures they posted were accurate. After talking to several of their fans I found out that the tournament games were not included in their season ticket package.

Unlike those wins we had against USC and S Carolina in Vegas last year.

We gritted it out and made the shots we had to at the end. It's a miracle the UCI's coach didn't get T'd up. He was in the refs ear the entire game. Big dog didn't have the greatest game but it was enough. #55 Green was a tank but he tossed up a bunch junk shots that somehow went in. Bring on UTEP.
