  1. Pratt was very lucky. The bullet just missed his heart. It looks like he will recover completely.
  2. The coaching staff knows about ever potential D-1 player out there. The assistants spend hundreds of hours looking at film, attending camps, games and AAU tournaments.
  3. Just for you Balsy. The perfect paradise.
  4. Purdue came here because they had a local kid on their team who was promised a game in his home area as part of his recruitment. It wasn't much of a risk for Keady because we sucked and had no chance of beating them.
  5. We host a game against Hofstra on Thursday night.
  6. They don't want to play us anytime, anywhere!

  8. Good assessment. The loss of Pat is what really hurt us in the tournament. We are essentially down to a 7 man rotation so we have to live with what that entails. Aaron and Jake are both playing with pure guts due to injuries. That means relying on Kwan to keep his head up and play through the mistakes. There is nobody on the roster to replace his minutes.
  9. The team is pumped and ready to knock off the Suckeyes.
  10. Before he got here we never even sniffed a MAC finals!
  11. I've been following this program for over 40 years. We should thank our lucky stars the we have KD as our head coach. Akron was a cesspool of college basketball for 20+ years before he came on the scene. Even the little bit of success we had in the Huggins era was an anomaly that defied the true sadness of D-1 basketball that we experienced. Anybody who thinks we should fire him needs their head examined.
  12. Craig Ubanks
  13. Media members vote for this award.
  14. I'm pretty sure he meant if Akron wins the MAC tourney, no other MAC team will get an NIT bid.
  15. Big Dog named 1st team, Reggie makes 2nd team and Antino named honorable mention. Josh named to the All Freshman team. Quite a good showing. 16. Toledo has a secret weapon against the Zips, Nick Dials. Nick knows every play the Zips run and the Rockets have used that to their advantage. During this years game KD would call out a play # and Dials would call out the defense to stop it.
  17. The managers need our support to advance in the tournament. Please vote to keep them going forward in winning a national championship.

  19. Reggie will most likely be back next season as a grad assistant. He still has a year left to finish his engineering degree, its a 5 year program.
  20. I hope the referees don't have much impact tonight.
