    I wouldn't be surprised if any purchase was made with private equity and operated under the auspices of UA.

    In the business world it is not uncommon for one company to purchase another under performing company. Getting a foothold into a different market area with the ability to expand is a worthy idea.

    Buffalo arrived in Akron this afternoon. The game will go on no matter what the weather does.

    With exception of Buffalo and Toledo all of those schools are in the middle of nowhere. I'm in Dekalb right now and there is not exactly a lot to do here on a Saturday.

    Their arrival on campus along with the promotion of KD to head coach marks the beginning of the winning for the Zips basketball program.

    Josh sprained his ankle and won't be playing tonight.

    Larry Scirotto is a good guy and referee. Donnie Eppley and Bill Elk are idiots. The last game that Eppley did for us, 46 fouls were called.

    The team really needs the fans to come out Friday night and show their support. KD asked me last night to rally the members of Zipsnation and get them out to the game. I challenge everyone to show up and bring a friend. This game is essentially a battle for the #1 seed at the MAC tourney. If we have a great crowd with lots of energy the team will respond. Go Zips!

    They announced the winner just before the beginnig of the 2nd half.

    They got the purple uniforms to honor Dan Peters and to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer, not to raise money. THERE ARE NO PLANS TO AUCTION THEM OFF.

    Saturday was the second time this year they wore the purple uniforms. They also wore them at the Coaches against cancer game at Can't State versus Cleveland St.

    No. They plan on wearing them 2-3 times per year for the next few years.
