    I would rather see him spend his summer working out and being a gym rat. AAU is great to showcase your talents prior to getting offered but after that it is a waste of time. Running up and down the court without playing any defense doesn't prepare a kid for what happens when they show up on campus.

    I think these palatial dorms are part of the problem. Why would you want to leave the cozy confines of your room to venture out in the polar vortex to watch a basketball game?

    Last night it was Senior night for StV. When Joshs parents walked onto the floor with him they were both wearing Zips gear.

    I guess when you've only been on this planet for a couple of decades this outlook is understandable. In the context of being a fan for more than 4 decades, 2005 wasn't that long ago. I remember a time whem Can't refused to even schedule us because we were too small time.

    1981, Did you ever consider that reason Deji performed so well in the second half was because OU subbed in their second unit at the same time he entered the game? That a big part of the reason he likes to come off the bench is because he can outperform the other teams second unit?

    Between 2009 and 2013 either the Zips or OU won the title.

    From what I understand, TW raised a huge stink with the MAC commissioner about how bad our schedule last year hurt our attendance. Thanks TW! No Tuesday or Thursday games!

    If Harney and Abreu finish their degrees we will be fine.

    I don't think the team is lacking confidence. I would say that as currently comprised , we are lacking in experience at closing out close games. The coaching staff is currently working on finding out who should be on the floor at the end now that Noah is out for the remainder of the season.

    Not to mention the game would be played in Jacksonville , essentially a neutral court. 2 out of the 3 Zips ncaa games have been played in their opponents back yard.

    You guys will need to get on the road at about 6am tomorrow , it's about a 5 hour drive to buffalo .

    What's even more amazing is the guy he was guarding only scored 18.

    Evans hasn't played or practiced at the point guard position all season . I don't think that is going to change anytime soon .

    That's not what happened. Everything is good and we need to just not try to analyze every little thing that happens in the heat of the moment.
