  1. I would suggest that you all watch the coaches show tonight. Hopefully you might find out some answers about next years team.
  2. #4 is going to be this years Jawanza Moore/ Jimmy Conyers. I really liked how KD kept Fire and Ice together on the floor last night when the game was on the line. Those 2 guys are the future of Zips basketball.
  3. Reading ZN.o this season it's obvious that one area they can improve on is the tailgating situation in regards to lot #9. If you could purchase a reserved space for an additional fee on top of what you already pay for parking what would it be worth? With a reserved spot you could show up when it's convenient for you and never have to worry about some Marshall or Can't fan being parked in your spot. If you wanted, you could buy multiple spots. I understand that the athletic department and others at UA want to improve the tailgating experience for Zips fans starting next season. I also know that the powers that be read ZN.o to get a feeling of what the fans want and need to make them happy. If you have other suggestions that I didn't include in my post them here.
  4. I'm thinking beer goggles while posting.
  5. KD has openly expressed his desire to upgrade the teams travel arrangements. We could use about $100,000 a year to pay for charters. You can earmark any contributions you make to the Z-Fund for what ever team you support. Have you made your contribution yet for this year? It's tax deductible.
  6. LZip, the team didn't even arrive back at the hotel until after 9 pm on Sunday. There are no commercial flights available directly to State College. I guess they could have flown home to Akron on Monday and bussed to PSU on Tuesday. No additional flights were needed either way. I'm pretty sure ESPN payed our travel expenses for this tournament, so beggars can't be choosets.
  7. PSU charted direct to State College Sunday night and slept in their own beds for 2 nights. Zips were up at 6am Monday for a flight to Philly and had a bus ride from there to State College.
  8. Both of the USC's, PSU, Charlotte and the Zips all stayed at the Marriott.
  9. Cherisse, it was a pleasure meeting you and Kwan Sr. I look forward to seeing you at some games in the future.
  10. This team has totally lost whatever confidence it had.
  11. So I guess it's down to Tree and Juice Brown for the top 2 spots.
  12. Terry is the good cop. Without the bad cop there last night, I didn't see much passion from the players. KD would have blown a gasket at about the 10 minute mark of the first half.
  13. Mvp- Tree Biggest Surprise- Antino Jackson Biggest Disappointment- Big Dog Struggles from his injury Award Winners- Tree POY, Robothom FOY, Kretzer, McAdams All MAC Season Result- Option #1 Because I'm a homer
  14. I would say that's a good bet.
  15. Wait till the MAC gets an introduction to our new backcourt. I'm thinking they are going to open a few eyes. I'll call them Fire and Ice.
  16. You're on a roll today K92.
  17. I like guys who play with a chip on their shoulder. Beside, I'm tired of arguments about football. It's time for some arguments about basketball.
  18. No argument Skip, but if you look at the players on that list most of them didn't exactly set the world on fire last year either.
  19. I know this was mentioned in another thread, but I thought it deserves its own thread. So far only Jake Kretzer(#20) is the only Zip to make the top 25. They are now down to the 7th best player. So far Can't State has three guys on the list(#13,#18) and BGSU has 3 guys(#7,#12). I have to believe that Tree will show up on this list soon. With that said, how is it possible that the Zips are picked to win the MAC east? With all that talent, shouldn't Bugs and Can't be the top teams in the east? http://www.hustlebelt.com/mac-basketball/2014/10/14/6980195/2014-2015-mac-basketball-top-25-players-countdown
  20. I really chuckled at a couple of the edits on that page.
  21. So the guy who sits behind you and came prepared for the rain with his poncho should have to move to a different seat because he can't see the game because of your big umbrella?
  22. When we lined up on 4th and 4 with Grice in the backfield it was perfect time to run a QB bootleg or some other kind of misdirection. Instead we just give the ball to a guy who hasn't needed to gain more than one yard on any carry this season. This offense is so predictable that we make horrible defenses like BG's look good.
  23. #7 was instrumental in both plays by avoiding contact. On the interception in the endzone #7 just watched as a BG lineman took a direct line to Pohl forcing a bad throw. If he makes that block, the result is probably a TD.
  24. In my experience that would be zero.
  25. There is still hope. Don't give up on the idea of a new arena yet.
