  1. I like Dillard, he had about 3 dropped passes at that point in the game. The right choice was to throw to D'Orazio
  2. He still gets a nice payday.
  3. Those "impermissible benefits" were some t-shirts and coffee mugs the players were given for participating in a preseason tourney. OMG! Bob Rupert made a fortune coaching in Saudi Arabia before he took over as HC for the Zips. Before that he was the head coach at Canton McKinley. Get your facts straight. Arabs Want to Learn Basketball.
  4. I might be mistaken, but it looks like Brumbaugh has moved over to right guard. I'm pretty sure he has been at left guard the whole season.
  5. Hell Yeah! :gun: :gun: :gun: :gun:
  6. I agree with the gold chrome look. Then make it look like carbon fiber.
  7. Dude, you are making AKZipper look like an optimist.
  8. ESPN has promised us a nice payback for playing at St. Marys. You will see it in next seasons schedule.
  9. They had to use that one because they wouldn't pay me the royalties for the one I came up with at the banquet last spring.
  10. On Chisholm's first carry of the game at UCF, the linebacker over pursued and all he had to do was cut to the middle of the field for a big gain. Instead he tried to get the corner. If he keeps doing this, he needs to sit on the bench.
  11. Who'd have thought that Kangaroo Craig is really Marty McFly!
  12. Joe Dunn interviewed Frenchy yesterday and they talked about the depth chart. Both thought that Bowden left MTB and Bickley off the 2 deep to take some pressure off them. If you are on the 2-deep, you know you are going to get some PT. A true freshman might sleep better if he thought he wasn't going to have to play. Then when the time comes, TB just yells their name and says "get in there"! If they have practiced hard, they will be ready. All we need from these guys are a couple of big plays. Remember David Harvey?
  13. I think he would be great too! Too bad he doesn't have a PhD.
  14. Yeah, I should have known better than to discuss actual facts, instead of emotional ramblings like those in the posts above the one I just quoted.
  15. It's really sad when all you can do is resort to a personal attack when you have nothing else to make your point.
  16. I know people who work with JT on a personal level everyday at UA. Every one of them find him to be a breath of fresh air compared to the other academics who populate most of the hierarchy of UA. Some of them were very skeptical about his intentions when he first arrived. All of them now tell me he is a huge asset to the university. They tell me he is well informed and passionate in his quest to provide a great learning experience for all students at UA. Isn't that what really matters? I could care less about what degrees someone has because at the end of the day all that matters is, was the job done.
  17. I was told at the golf outing that all the lower level seats have been sold out to season ticket holders.
  18. I can't wait to see the finished product.
  19. It was a beautiful day for golf. The event was well attended with a full slate of foursomes in both the morning and afternoon flights. I played in a foursome with Steve McNees and Charles Thomas. The most interesting comment from them was how impressed they were with Kwan Cheatham. It's way too early to make any guarantees , but he has such a good offensive game that if he can play any defense he has a chance to get some minutes next season. For a guy who is 6'9" he is a really good ball handler. He also can shoot off the dribble. What makes that interesting is this from the Zips Media guide.
  20. Are you insinuating that Bob Rupert was a poor recruiter?
  21. It's a Process.
  22. The current format of ZN.O is approaching it's 10th anniversary, but ZN.O was around for a while before that. Us old guys called it the Blue Board. I still wonder what happened to DA ZIPMAN?
