Just got home from the All Star game. Jackson is quite a player. He was easily the fastest player on the court. He was the leading scorer for the Stark team and could create his own shot at will.. He had quite a variety of drives to the basket, 3 pointers and a couple of beautiful passes. That said, he is very skinny and would need to beef up some to withstand the pounding of D-1 basketball. While at the game I got info from a good source who says he is going to a JC in Kansas or Michigan. It will be interesting to see if he makes it to an upper level D-1 team.
Option #1 is a big reason for their success, their coach even said so in an interview after they won on Friday. The whole university is founded on the concept of Fun & Sun.
Just like I predicted. UM is getting all of the close calls. Double teams and traps that resulted in turnovers against UA are now called as fouls against VCU. #30 Daniels has had a bunch of wide open looks and hasn't made any of them.
My prediction;
Michigan will shoot more than 30 free throws and VCU will lose. No way do the refs let VCU manhandle UM like they did us in UM's backyard.

Dan was a late bloomer. His parents are big Zips fans and are season ticket holders. As much as I would love to see him at the JAR, he will be a great addition to the Wooster program.
Keep an eye on this guy, Joshua Williams, Barberton, 6-1, soph., 20.0. Rumor is we have already offered him a scholly. Second team all state as a sophmore.
Walnut Hills High School is an outstanding school academically. Looks like Johnson will fit right in to our program.

I think the Mac puts a limit on the # of players allowed on the bench at the MACC. Jonas was introduced with the rest of the team tonight at the watch party.
