No problem. I wish I knew enough to come up with on that I knew would work. I guess my favorite one was the lateral to D'Orazio and then his pass from there for a TD. That was a cool play.

Now that I looked at your link I had a better view. I was mistaken about how many defenders are on the field. They are only missing one instead of two. It's still much easier to score on 10 instead of eleven guys. Where is the missing safety? Count for yourself.

Things will work out. In KD I trust.

You forgot to account for the safety who will prevent your play from being successful. I only see 9 defenders in your scenario. I like the idea of the pump fake,and prefer JZ's play.

Excellent post LOZ. The soccer analogy is right on the money. I don't follow the Zips because I think they are going to win a national championship. I follow them because they are my team. I am proud to wear my "Blue and Gold colored glasses". The Zips don't owe me anything.

Unfortunately we are still feeling the effects of AA's selfish decisions last year. It's not like KD could just go out to the point guard store and buy a suitable replacement. It's painfully obvious now just how much he meant to the team. Myles was never meant to be a direct replacement, just a guy who could fill in for 5-8 minutes a game. Melo would have probably been run off like the others before him who couldn't perform up to KD's standards. Now we are stuck with these two and this will be a huge challenge for KD to get one of them or Q to turn into a workable PG. Their struggles are effecting the play of the entire team. With AA running the point this team would be 3-0 and looking like a top 40 team.

The turning point of the game was the third down play where BSU had Lynch for what appeared to be a sack and he broke the tackle and scrambled for a first down. The following touchdown put NIU ahead and BSU was never able to regain the lead. Lynch is a great talent but I'm still not sure he is an NFL QB.

Pratt was looking for a D-1 basketball offer. When it became obvious that wasn't going to happen, he switched his focus to football. The week after Bowden was hired I saw George Van Horn at the JAR during a BB practice. He mentioned that they were scrambling for football recruits. I mentioned that Pratt might be worth a look. Bowden showed up at GHS the next day.The rest is history.

Having been to numerous practices I can state with pretty good confidence that Melo has no ability to hit an outside shot. He knows it too and thats why his offense consists of drives to the basket resulting blocks and turnovers. Evans needs to step up his game to the D-1 level. I think he can do it.

All I got out of this game was indigestion.

Unless Evans steps up his game this is going to be a tough season. Big Dog has been the highlight of this game for the zips.

That sounds about right to me. After getting beat by Can't a few years ago I doubt they are taking us lightly.

Too bad that you guys made the wrong career choices. I plan on staying up to watch and plan to sleep in the next day. Just like every day.

He did have only one turnover, but he allowed himself to be trapped in the corner on the inbounds play at least once and maybe twice requiring the use of a time out. I do agree that he is hopefully the long term answer at that position. I have confidence that KD can work with him to make better decisions with the ball.

On the radio after the game, KD said he planned on burning both the big guys red shirts tonite. Just didn't work out. Ugly win.

They got rid of the guy who made the screw ups. The new guy has much better credentials and a lot more experience in interpreting NCAA rules.

GoZips does........the clock and the scoreboard that is.

I only have one thing to say. In KD I trust. All he has done is win since he became the head coach. Until he falls flat on his face I am more than willing to accept that the decisions he makes are the right ones for UA basketball.
