  1. If Harris returns, there will not be many game-minutes remaining for anyone else in 2025-26. Harris would take the minutes from Gray's departure, and the others will be fighting for Seth's minutes. In addition, someone like Nate Johnson could get some P5 interest if he has a nice tournament. I have to believe there will be some portal departures.
  2. Gave up 63 in the 2nd half? Gotta be some sort of record?
  3. Shammah Scott should get more than a handful of votes.
  4. Bowen Hartman had his best game as a Zip last night. Timely 3’s, drove in for an open layup, pretty pocket pass to Nate, and was adequate on defense. Be nice if that kind of impact became a trend. That’s the Bowen we’ll need in Cleveland!
  5. Fun to watch Isaiah Gray celebrate the big win with his teammates!
  6. Great college basketball game. Tremendous show in front of a national audience. If Joe Sheboygan or Flo Peoria was channel surfing tonight they stopped on ESPN2 because it had the look and vibe of a big time event. And it was.
  7. Maybe I should have gone with “lamprey”?
  8. CTROSF!! (Cut The Remora Off Sullinger’s Forehead)
  9. I remember when the Sipe-to-Rucker combination was all the rage. Any Rucker to follow pales by comparison.
  10. Bought 4 Friday tickets at $26 each, fees and taxes included using the code. Section 125.
  11. I bought two Thursday “cheapies” using a code for $40 today. $16 ea. + $4 in fees ea. Regular price was $26 ea. and with taxes and fees it rose to an incredible $82!
  12. He'll need to make more than 1 to get of the schneid. Lyles was a combined 8-12 in 3-pointers against St Mary's and Omaha towards the beginning of the season. Complete revelation. He's a combined 10-46 in all other games. 21.7% It's like he's possessed by 2023-24 Mikal Dawson.
  13. Lyles 3-point shooting was a revelation earlier this season. It isn’t anymore.
  14. Can’t believe nobody has told Sullinger he has a lamprey attached to his head?
  15. Yeah...I think it is more likely that he'd have tried to parlay that $30k into a few more bales of the chronic and turn it into $200k. They say "There's no greater tragedy than unrealized potential". Whenever I hear the phrase I immediately think about that Zips basketball team.
  16. Probably why schools like West Virginia and North Carolina invested a look at him. He definitely has the athleticism and the motor.
  17. I agree with one caveat- whomever decided to play music during Groce and Enrique’s speeches at the halftime ceremony should be flogged.
  18. Zips need to retire Enrique’s jersey every week. Big home crowd already!
  19. The first words my wife said to me at 6:55 am this morning - "It's Enrique Freeman Day!"
  20. 2 years eligibility remaining Barely saw the field in 3 years in Happy Valley (2 + redshirt).
  21. I'll go with the team that plays with more physicality.
  22. Every guy in the Zips Top 10 wants to be playing 30+ minutes per game. And other than Nate, no one is really close. If Harris wouldn't have bowed-out, the disparity would be even worse. You can't bitch about PT when your team is 19-5 and running roughshod over the MAC. You just accept your role and enjoy winning. It's 2025...if you value getting 30 minutes PT over winning, transfer to EMU. No Zip seems to be racing for the portal? Definitely speaks to the culture (overuse word, but it applies here) that Groce has created that so many talented players have embraced a defined role and sacrificed personal stats to win. Can't argue with that. At the MAC level, we have an embarrassment of riches on the offensive side of the ball. True statement. That kid busted his ass...did his best to put the Bronco's on his shoulders.
  23. Considering our budget restrictions, is there an off-brand Red Panda...maybe a Pink Koala? On a tricycle, with paper plates? Could we get the Blatz Light Daredevils to perform some antics on pogo sticks?
  24. I don't think Freeman stymied Castenada's development? Tribble went from 8.6% to 35.7% from behind the arc with Freeman last year. We had zero threats from the perimeter last season. Sammy Hunter was streaky at best, and he was the best shooter we had. We really had no option but to ride Enrique night in night out. Give me an NBA caliber low post player + the guards and wings we have today any day of the week.
