  1. Nick Rossi's little brother? Welcome to UA, Chuck!
  2. "Molester-enabler Vienna Lager"? I'd rather drink the overflow from a Mardi Gras sewer that support that sicko.
  3. Mark my words - Mort will go down as one of the Top 3 UA Interim Athletic Directors of all-time.
  4. I'll take winning as a first step to increasing attendance, rather than crawling into the fetal position.
  5. Have they thought of: #WeAreAllTeamIllinois? Problem solved.
  6. He just might be the best Interim Athletic Director in Akron Zips history!!
  7. Thomas Cole - TE Seems like a great kid.
  8. It is a classy company that tells someone: "We aren't going to renew your contract, so I encourage you to find another position by X date." Glad Wistercill moved quickly to another position outside UA, and Scarborough will get his hand-picked AD.
  9. Remember on Sesame Street when they used to sing that "Which of these things doesn't belong?" song? Note: Successfully answering the above question was also worth 85% credit on several K.e.n.t. Doctoral thesis papers.
  10. Former Niles Red Dragon looks to play "closer to home" Niles is a small town...can Billy (Niles Grad) help the Zips recruiting?
  11. Has there ever been a post that says nothing....and then the person who wrote the post "Likes" their own post?
  12. Looking forward to a dynamic replacement who, after accomplishing some great things at UA, is coveted by larger programs. Non-dynamic, unimaginative handshakers who can't do much else but ride their predecessors coat-tails need not apply. If you can't fill a 27k football stadium to at least 60% capacity, and can't get a new basketball arena built, you also need not apply.
  13. I think it is stupid to avoid Ohio State conflicts. It isn't like there are tens of thousands of fans sitting at home watching Ohio State that would otherwise be at the Zips game. They don't come anyhow, so f 'em. I love 6 pm starts. Night games are always a blast. And all the family/kids events are long-since completed by 6 pm.
  14. A treat for late-arriving Pitt fans They'll have until 6 pm to pull their cars into Lot 9 for free parking!
  15. I bet D'Orazio's 7th year would have been even better,
  16. 1.) Dellavadova moves his feet well, and never reaches in. If you are a ref, you can't blow whistles on him because his technique is so good. He looks like a chipmunk, but he's a great defender. 2.) I thought Zips basketball fans were the biggest officiating-whiners of all time. But Golden State fans blow them away. Maybe they're equal, and the fact that there's 5X more of them makes it sound worse? Either way, I've never seen such a mass of fans with such a collectively low basketball IQ as those in Oakland.
  17. He was Teddy Bridgewater's favorite target for a season. Couple of ACL tears pushed him down on Louisville's WR 2-deep, so he'll be in the slot for his senior year with the Zips in 2015. Hope he has a healthy finish to his career. Bio
  18. He will not be playing football for the Zips in 2015. We'll need to wait until next season to see him in action.
  19. If you wait 10-or-so seconds, the full news story appears. At least it did for me. Optional story (again, you need to wait several seconds for the full story to appear) I think it is pretty neat than an NFL legend, who played hundreds of big games throughout his college + pro career, still vividly recalls playing against him in high school over 60 years ago. Great pic. Bevo was still getting the cheerleaders late in life. God Bless 'em:
  20. He could let ZipsNation members select the bottle logo?
  21. Ohio Basketball Legend
  22. If they're bringing in $150k/year per athlete, then good for OSU. OSU athletics is absolutely no drain on the University as a whole. Instead it's is a cash cow. You need to find a new drum to beat to a pulp.
