While there is some merit to the argument that modern television is sapping a small sector of college football's game day attendance, that point is absolutely irrelevant to Akron's attendance issues at InfoCision. 2.) Why doesn't he mention his hiring of Rob Ianello as a contributing factor to InfoCision's poor attendance? I did a little more research that the lazy reporter from Philly and from what I can tell, Rob Ianello's pigskin holocaust was the #1 reason the stadium has been 80+% empty. November Tuesday night games with 7/8pm starts placed a distant 2nd. I am confident that Bowden will do the impossible and make Akron a winner in football, as long as UA doesn't do anything stupid to impede him. Thank God a search committee reached out to the guy. It just sucks that he was given such a big hole to fight out of.

If the 2013-14 Zips had Bluffton's point guard instead of Betancourt, they'd have won at least 2 more games. The kid was small, but he was a baller. Best parking spot I've ever had at a Zips BB game. I've never seen fewer cars. Ate at The Score on Exchange prior to the past 2 games. They have great steak sandwiches. Great fries. $2 pints. The bar is really nice...nicest I've ever seen on UA's campus. I may have found a new pre-game hang out?

MTSU game refs were good. Most of the charging fouls were 100% obvious. One was "iffy." MTSU moved their feet on defense. They got in good defensive position in the paint, and the Zips plowed into them multiple times.

To my knowledge, Junius is a greyshirt. Thus he cannot enroll until January 2015, or he would forfeit a full year of eligibility.

EMU is for real. I watched most of the Michigan game, and EMU plays excellent defense. They will give the Zips all we can handle. I'm glad to see it. EMU has been a blight on the MAC (which is really saying something) for over a decade. We need more strong teams. I hope EMU/Toledo is on TV. That'll be a fun game.

Better late than never to start this topic... Nice win by EMU over Michigan tonight. Wish it was us beating Ohio State, but happy for the former Hurons nonetheless.
