    Tennessee game line opened at 45.5, up to 48 at Caesars.. Probably not a good sign that they put the odds out already with Irons' status unannounced.

    4 scores, same as last week 😒 Although I would love to be wrong and have another OT game (even if we come out on the short end). The second half will be more fun for us, once some of their first string are off the field.

    BG had a good first half against UCLA. CMU put up 44 against #12 Ok St. but gave up 58. Kittie-Kats beat a fellow G5 and Toledo rolled.

    I am hopeful that we can maintain good field position and move the ball well enough to be in field goal range on most possessions. And that our defense can give them much trouble and get a turnover or two. Zips win by 4 scores.

    I doubt anyone has any idea what the walk-up will be. I think it will be good for JoeMo's debut but not great since 1) it's a weeknight and 2) lack of recent success. It was pointed out on Twitter to my inquiring mind that the game is on Thursday so as not to conflict with Joe Akron's Labor Day weekend plans.

    I agree, getting to a good team would put wind in his sails. He had a great outing last night at home against Boston though. 7 innings pitched, 2 hits, 7 K's, no runs and got the win (apparently he exited due to a blister). Bassitt is on the hill tonight for the Mets.
