  1. I heard that. He does seem nice but idk how he's able to do college coursework here.
  2. What are Dollard's realistic chances of being picked up by someone? Maybe another hard-up G5? Would kinda suck if he ended up playing against us.
  3. I would just replace Detroit or Oakland, but for Toledo they are next door neighbors. I hadn't heard of the U. of NW Ohio Racers before.
  4. He's the only one that could help the Flushes. It would take a miracle. ๐Ÿ‘ผ
  5. Indiana as mentioned previously, and Syracuse at Infocision. Va. Tech came to the Rubber Bowl in the 90's. Illinois rings a bell but that was probably just at their place.
  6. what would progress look like? beating out toledo for recruits.
  7. Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, A-Roo logo's got to go!
  8. Watching that highlight reel you wouldn't think they'da had so much trouble shooting in Fla.
  9. A few other transfer QB names in that article. Maybe a future Zip?
  10. I think it's good to have at least one logo with the name of the school/city spelled out... that's the best branding/marketing aspect. As for uniforms, I would just use it on the chest where it can be large enough and not cram it onto helmets and in media/scorebugs where it's hard on the eyeballs.
  11. 5 of them are favored; 5 wins is the target.
  12. Taylor leads Marshall past Duquesne on late shot HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- โ€” Andrew Taylor made a 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining to lift Marshall to a 72-71 win over Duquesne on Saturday night. On the next possession for the Dukes, Amir Spears missed a layup, allowing the Thundering Herd to hang on for the victory.
  13. He has tons of coaching and former player connections now so yes it will be interesting to see the new staff come together. With my veto power, I am eliminating: 1) iCoach, 2) Milwee, and 3) Jeff Bowden I'd actually be OK with keeping Arth on as QB coach if he would be willing to cancel his contract and take a pay cut in exchange for sustaining his coaching career without a gap in his resume. What is Oscar R.'s position coaching strength? He seems like a good ambassador and relatable to the players. Maybe a recruiting coordinator type role? And I'm half serious about Brookhart as an assistant - JM would be paying back the hiring favor. Of course, he may refuse to return to an employer that fired him previously but then again it would be more money than he's currently making as a H.S. coach.
  14. At least we don't line up like goofballs and take pictures of ourselves trying to spell it out with our arms.
  15. ESPN scooped by Indiana County PA radio station! ๐Ÿ˜„
  16. Congrats and thanks to CG for getting this deal done. Given Coach Mo's goals at this particular juncture of being back within a few hours of Pittsburgh and wanting to rehab/re-hone his head coaching chops at the less intense G5 level, timing and good fortune seem to have smiled upon us. It could have been one of the other MAC East schools or maybe a Marshall, depending on who had an opening at the right time (now). If TA had been given another year, this opportunity might have been missed.
  17. "I believe Zips fans have been patient long enough... Truer words were never press-released, Dr. Miller ๐Ÿ˜Œ
  18. Did the faculty union sign off on this yet?
  19. j.d. brookhart?
  20. looks like we could sign up to 32 new bodies, including xfers.
  21. Couldn't Solich have gotten a high P5 coordinator or lower-end P5 HC position post-Huskers? Why would he go to lowly struggling G5 OU?
  22. was able to embed this in MS Edge..
  23. Holy cow, it did work ... click on the tweet text to isolate the tweet, then copy and past the URL in your post and it rendered. (Now if I can figure out how to post a tweet in the correct forum... ๐Ÿ˜œ)
  24. sounds like a challenge....tbd
