Congrats and thanks to CG for getting this deal done. Given Coach Mo's goals at this particular juncture of being back within a few hours of Pittsburgh and wanting to rehab/re-hone his head coaching chops at the less intense G5 level, timing and good fortune seem to have smiled upon us. It could have been one of the other MAC East schools or maybe a Marshall, depending on who had an opening at the right time (now). If TA had been given another year, this opportunity might have been missed.

Our stock couldn't be much lower, the Rockettes are probably expecting this game to go as smooth as glass - minus 28.5 might be a buy. OTOH, they could be motivated by playing for the most favorable bowl option they can get.

Respectfully, Akron is considered one of the worst jobs in America. That’s mostly due to lack of facilities and support from the administration. For a program that has more all-time losses than wins, this should not be hard to believe. 🙄

Credit to them for traveling to here, playing in the cold on our field and notching the win to advance.

I would argue that parking should be free. If you're buying tickets and showing up for the game it's annoying to have to pay for parking also. It adds very little cost for the U. - if you must, just add a $1-2 surcharge to the ticket (or incorporate it into the face price) for the little bit of security, attendants, cleanup, etc. required.
