  1. Cyclones are not missing him too much, apparently. Tied up Oklahoma 24-24 late in the 3rd.
  2. Straight down the middle
  3. TB must have opened a can...
  4. Game 6 - Ball State 10/7 3:30 ESPN3 Wow-wee, 9-point home favorites !
  5. That would be no.
  6. Coach Groce is really taking this kangaroo mascot thing to heart. I just hope they're not losing so much weight that they will get pushed around and never be in position to use their great hops.
  7. Ha ha, should slow down the opponents a little. Might get a bad bounce here and there
  8. Ay-Zippy-Roo-ba !
  9. I don't remember what it's like to beat BG in football... #notsincebrookhart BGSU has won eight consecutive meetings with Akron, including four straight in Doyt L. Perry Stadium. The Falcons have outscored Akron 170-64 in the four home games for an average score of 42.5-16.0. During the entire eight-game win streak, BGSU has outscored Akron 296-145 for an average score of 37.0-18.1. Only one of the eight games has been decided by single-digits. BG is 16-7 all-time vs. Akron LOOKING BACK • A year ago, BGSU's Jake Suder broke a 28-28 tie against Akron with a field goal with 2:23 to play. Akron fumbled away the ensuing kickoff and BG scored a touchdown 11 seconds later for a 38-28 win. • Marcus Milton had a 76-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown and an interception. It had stood as his only career interception until picking off a pass last week against Middle Tennessee. • Akron outgained the Falcons 374-323, but it was the hidden yardage (like Milton's fumble recovery touchdown) and turnovers that made the difference. • Donovan Wilson led BGSU with 119 yards on the ground and BGSU had two ball carriers over 100 yards (Fred Coppet added 116). #AYZIPPY
  10. Right. Something has to be done this year, either an extension or a firing or a retiring. The AD is well aware of this.
  11. I'll believe it when I see it. With the experience and positive results he is building up, Pres. Wilson may attract attention for bigger better jobs and be gone in a year or 2. Then what?
  12. When people stop being racist the protests will end and it won't be a problem.
  13. Opening line has Zips as 2.5 point favorite.
  14. Is too.
  15. So the Steelers are squelching the players' free speech? What could possibly go wrong?
  16. Since this is on ESPN3 again, I will specifically schedule something productive to do with it on in the background (hard to watch, hard not to watch) so I will have something to show for the 3.5 hours, just in case.
  17. LOL at the bettors and prognosticators that thought picking against the Zips was easy money after PSU and ISU.
  18. Fire Dailey. There's a reason they threw it his way.
  19. Game turned off. Looking for my rubber mallet.
  20. 4-hour game, here we come..
  21. +1. And don't force kids to recite creeds and pledges. They can decide to do it (or not) when they are of age to think for themselves.
  22. He could have made it if he wanted to. He has people that could manage the foundation for 1-2 days. But it may have looked bad for him to go off to receive football accolades while the locals were in need. At the very least he could have rescheduled. There would have been a lot more fan response if he was there standing on the 50 yard line. What's the point of going crazy for the video if there's no recipient there? It's like people in a theater applauding at the end of a movie...why?
  23. His actual excuse was the hurricane but the airports were re-opened by Tuesday before the game.
  24. Frankly, they should have canceled the tribute until/unless he could be in attendance. Which may have been never.
