As far as getting home opponents, yes. And you can only travel the players so much.

Atlantic "10", with 14 full members I think he can get to middle of the pack without too much trouble. Getting to the top 3 or 4 for an at large will be tough with Dayton, VCU, URI, Richmond, etc. And Duquesne, like Akron, will have to earn every ounce of respect they get from selection committees when they get to bubble territory.

It alleviates some salary cost on paper in the short term but those savings need to be plowed directly into the facility upgrades fund. It's not like a windfall that's going to ease a lot of pressure on the athletics budget.
