anyone notice J.D. requested 30k min. max of 45k seating but all of the plans show 23k in seating with a grass area for over flow. i dont mind the grass idea but 23K???? just a little bigger please!

rivals is showing williams as a temple solid verbal as of 12/9. my one concern with this class though is LB. Akron is very thing with not a lot of size. Akron will be fine if Smith enrolls and they pick up another quality player like an Arron Williams. Other than that you couldn't ask for a better class so far! Moorhead needs a raise for all the work he's done in wpa!

mcprep you are right that it will cost around 60 million as that has been in the papers and quoted by mac in several interviews. i don't think they are being tight lipped either. this is a massive project that needs to be done right. not only for the football team, but for the university. i know it sucks but we as fans need to wait a little longer. i for one think a great stadium on campus is right around the corner.

recent update on rivals quotes williams that akron and ut are looking at him as a db and marshall is looking at him as rb. i hope akron can get this kid as it would increase the chances to get raush (teamate). has any one heard anything about recurits shying away till they find out j.d.'s status with the zips?

this is going to be the way to schedule moving forward unless akron can get a big name team to come to the jar and don't expect that to happen any time soon. the way akron did their schedule is very similar to mvc schools. start with a early tourny and play good quality teams on the road. this really boosts ones rpi. the other factor that should help akron's rpi is that most of the mac should have a good record this year elevating the conference ranking. looking forward to another big akron win tonight!

the same thing happened to me at the ub game! i brought my ticket to the team shop for the first 3 home games only to be turned away. at the ub game i did not have my voucher but asked to speak with a supervisor to explain that i don't live in the akron area and can not come down to the team shop during the week. i was told that was what i had to do to ensure myself a blanket. once i told him that it wasnt very good customer service and that i would consider not getting season tickets in the future did i get his card and told to call him directly (i wont mention his name) i chose not to call and was lucky enough to get my blanket at the last game. that's just not good customer service. why can't they mail them out with your tickets? its not like they were that heavy.

8-10 sounds about right and it was really nice to see a lots of kids running around in the grass lots hopefully we'll see more of this in the future

i would like to see no huddle to start but i don't think akron should stick with it unless they are on a roll. akron has way too many three and outs and with a ball control team like ohio it could wear out the D. i hope the coaches pull out all the stops though and take this win and i come luke finally plays well in the rain!

i take it you didn't watch the bsu ut game yesterday then??? they had about 5 phone interviews from doug flutie to rutgers head coach. the only person that was a little into the game was Speilmen and you could have guessed the tried to talk osu mu with him most of the game. i will stay positive for a second as mac games are on 5 days in a row and that doesn't suck!

good one capt. i watched the game on replay yesterday and got a good laugh on that one. also how about the play by play guy correcting himself on lindsey's touchdown chatch with about 4 mins. to go in the game. and don't even get me started on the color guy calling us ak-Ron over and over again. i will give espn some credit as there wasn't a whole bunch of shots to show the total crowd. most of the stills were of the student sections who rep'd the university well! even if no one was there for the game it was on t.v. and that's a step in the right direction. j.d. can tell incoming recruits that 5 games were on national television this year and that's huge!
