Talk about inferority complex. This guy (Hazell) was a good recruiter at OSU, but so was Ianello at ND. This guy is starting with his team from scratch, Ianello has known the team by now. This guy has no coaching experience, Ianello has a year under his belt. This guy has no field house, no new stadium, and a hippy campus in the woods. Why would anyone believe that he should be more successful than Ianello? Oh right, because he comes from OSU

I think that we desperately need a big guys assistant coach. Jeff Boals was that guy and i don't know who's doing that now. I am really concerned with Zeke's development. I am not going to complain about his lack of scoring but he must know by now how to pick his battles and wisely use his fouls. He also must be able to get more than 1 rebound in 20 minutes of play. Great game from Nik and Alex. Not bad from Diggs and Roberts. McNeese is a shooter, his shot will be on sometimes and off some other times but as far as his concerned, he should shoot whenever he gets an open look. That's what shooting guards do. Brett was (not in the game?) and as always, i wish oh i wish Euton & Egner could see more minutes.

I hope that you were not directing that at me for poking a little fun at our ADs physique. Tom is a really a SUPER GOOD GUY and I consider him a good friend of our family. I also become quite upset when he receives much undeserved flak. In time, I am sure that others will appreciate the man as much as we do. That's the only school i went to and that's the only D1 college football team i care about. As long as the Athletic department and the Coach show that they care and are at least trying to do something, they have my support. I am a very reasonnable person. Here is what will keep me happy: 2011: Must win no less than 4 games. 2012: Must have a winning record in the MAC. 2013: Must be Bowl eligible and compete for the conference.

About the "freakin joke of a basketball team": If you build a team around a center piece for seven years and than take out that center piece, the results will certainly be ugly. That being said, the CAVS are not as bad as they looked yesterday. Was that the first game you watched this year? They certainly are not contenders but they have a good chance to make the playoffs in their "DOWN" year. About the "freakin joke of a human being" He didn't leave because of the team. HE MADE that team. HE is the one who wanted Z resigned. HE is the one who wanted boobie resigned. HE is the one who wanted Shaq. When Jim Chrisitan left Can't State to TCU, people (myself included) thought that was a lateral move. Now that he will be coaching a big east team, it suddenly seems that the guy is a genius.

It just hit me that with the team that we had this year, we were only a good kicker away from being 3-9. No matter how bad you suck in the Mac, some one will suck more.

Last year, KD said that the late emergence of Jimmy Conyers was his fault because he kept him on a short leash the previous years. As a result, we only got to see one great year of Conyers. Today, KD talked about Nitro improving a lot from last year when he was on short strings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone see a pattern there? If you keep yanking Egner and Euton after every tiny mistake they make, we're going to waste 2-3 years of their eligibility and hear the same short leash/string story few years later.
