    Sammy Hunter had back-to-back assists there as Akron retook the lead. What I like about Hinter is his court vision and his ability to read the play and defense. What I DON'T like about Sammy? Constant clanging of three-point shots he should never be taking. Anyone see that differently?

    Reputation carries weight with the committee. What was WMU's RPI? After their final two games they have to be furious to not get a seed and home match! And glad they won't be in Akron's league (literally that is) next season!

    Faith was a complete player in HS. She has heft and rebounding ability, and can step outside and knock down the 'j'. A surprisingly athletic 6-3 with inside moves and instincts. She'll be all-MAC W/in 3 years.

    MSU's big man Tolu Smith played a year of HS here in Hawai'i. Has family in the islands. He's a very athletic post. It'll be fun to see how he and Freeman match up against each other.     The point is, the MAC CAN stop Akron from moving to another league for soccer only (so long as the conference continues to sponsor men's soccer). It sounds like you're talking about another conversation...the #HittingaDeadHorse thread of Akron leaving the conference altogether. That's a fair discussion, but a different one... 😉

    That sounds very nice, but so long as the MAC maintains an NCAA tournament slot -- and they just need to find one more member to maintain that -- the MAC is not just going to sit back and allow their prize cow to run away. I'm guessing the conference would have the final say. But that said...I wonder what the rest of the MAC soccer-playing schools are up to... 🤔
