UA has been known to use a scarcity marketing strategy in the past, they did it with me the entire summer trying to get me to renew. They posted several times about the scarcity for the soccer camps, and posted when they were actually sold out. If the game was close to being sold out, we would have seen a post mentioning the scarcity.

I don't think there's any tailgating plans for today with the women's game at 5. I wonder what the attendance record is for the women's team, maybe it can be broken today if people show up early for the men's game. We might get a crowd in the 2,000's considering there were 1,600 for a Wednesday pre-season game being played during the US v Mexico and Crew v LA games.

The "no re-entry" is a horrible policy, how expensive are stamps? This is the norm under Tom Wistrcill's regime. The worst was the idea to charge people $10 to park in tailgating lots for football games that hardly anyone goes to. It probably wont be long before they start charging to park for soccer games. I'm not a fan of their decision to make the west goal end reserved seating. The entire section was empty on Wednesday with around 1,600 people at the game. A reserved ticket cost $25 more per season ticket and those seats are not very good. The east bleachers are general admission and a lot better. I wouldn't be surprised if we see games with the east bleachers and grass areas overcrowded while the west bleachers are empty. The main grandstand could use another expansion, it sells out every year.
