I wont be tailgating for the game tonight, too much running around to do after work. It will be interesting to see how the attendance turns out tonight. Porter's been going around campus recruiting students to attend, so the student attendance should be better tonight. But, high school soccer playoffs start today. I know a few people that wont be at the game today because of high school playoffs. And, the US plays Guatemala in an extremely important World Cup qualifier game. A few AO Akron guys wont be at the Akron game tonight. The last time Akron played on a Tuesday at CCF/FES was against Michigan.

This team is the best defensive team we've ever seen at Akron. Worries me about the playoffs though. Teams will play for penalty kicks against us.

NIU has fallen far from last year's team. What is going on with that program?

We need Marquette to lose, finishing undefeated in the Big East would earn them a higher spot in the tournament than us.

Some of these top recruits might not have went to college had it not been for Porter. As they grow the reserve and 2nd League (NASL), we are going to see less of those international players go to college.

I used to complain about George Thomas' movie coverage back when I was in high school. I really dislike his work and find it unfortunate that the ABJ appointed him to cover Akron sports.

the rumors are pointing to Brian Maisonneuve, but I believe Shaun Docking should still be in the running. Coastal Carolina could go far in the tournament this year.
