Never I'm pretty sure the Tulsa game outdrew the EMU game last year. I was at both.

I'm so excited for this... Akron is on ESPN3 quite frequently and it will be nice to not have to sit at a computer to watch the games, but stream them to my xbox instead.

It depends on the situation. Yoram and Josh were most certainly not going to see any playing time in the near future. They were both on some sort of scholarship (of which there are a limited number in soccer). By transferring they gave us a chance to get players that can compete for playing time as opposed to having scholarship players on the bench. It was wrong of the Rowdies to chant at them. Don't get me wrong, I love the Rowdies and think most of their chants are awesome. I agree that this one was out of bounds. You reference to Dakotah is apples and oranges to this situation.

I have a feeling it looks kinda like the one the players wear. Funny, i want to see something up close. Like the quality. I've seen it. Didn't buy yet so I can't post pictures, but it is legit quality wise. Very cool.

UConn was not BE yet... I think it was two years later. Indiana has never been in the Big East.

I would definitely have to say Ohio State. Hartwick could be if they were better although they were one of the few teams to hold a lead against us last year. And yes we do play OSU in Columbus this year. Hopefully we play better defense than we played last time we were there.

I'm guessing Speas and Kitchen are the adds to the starting lineup. Not sure on the third. Should be just as fun this year anyway with Nagbe up top providing some lightning. Can't wait.

Glad we spend on time on the soccer forum talking about our number one soccer team and not the Buckeyes. Come on we've got nothing to be jealous about here. Nothing to be jealous about. But we do have the opportunity to go to Columbus and beat them up on their home turf again this season. Now that I can get behind. The game there two years ago was literally the best soccer game I've ever seen. High scoring, rivalry, lots of fans, etc., etc.

As much as I dislike the Flushes, I like to see them and Akron both competitive in the East...makes me hope that spanking them for the Wagon Wheel can also mean a trip to the MAC title game one of these years...doubly sweet. I hope K.e.n.t. loses every game by 50 points. I hope they draw under 9k, instead of their goal of 90k. I hope they continue to arrest their alumni who tailgate at homecoming. I hope they get busted for multiple major recruiting violations. I hope 45 K.e.n.t. players get arrested in an ugly, drunken street brawl that makes national news for 5 weeks. I'd like to nominate 'the Kid' for Giving up on the Zips Hall of Fame. In my humble opinion his performance over the last 6 months has pushed him right to the top. Who is "the Kid" ? Zach used to be UAkronkid and had a habit of saying so much stupid stuff people made fun of him a lot. So he reinvented himself as Zach and stopped saying stupid stuff for a while. He did?

For the record, I haven't noticed it since yesterday morning. Perhaps it is gone? One computer I was running Firefox and Vista and the other one I was running Firefox and XP. Glad I wasn't nuts and I wasn't the only one that noticed this.

I just noticed that when i came to the site, Java tried to pop up and my anti-virus freaked out. Mods, you might want to look at the status of the site... I think it might be trying to attack us. If no one else noticed this, then I might be on crack, but I'm usually pretty good with computer stuff and thought this might be going on. Anyone confirm?
