How 'Bout™ Akron? The Zips will get one last regular season shot at Can't at home on Sunday (don't bother trying to get in, it's sold out), and they made a nice statement last night at Ohio. By shooting 60 percent from the floor, Akron topped Ohio 80-77 in the Convo, a place they haven't won in for three years.In case no one is aware of this website browse on over to www.midmajority.com It is a fantastic site with mid-major apologist Kyle Whelliston running the site (he is also a special contributer to espn.com from time to time). In any case Akron and the MAC in general get plenty of love, and Kyle has been known to be hilarious at times.

When did the game start coming in there? I went over to the Lizard in Fairlawn with about 11 to go in the first half because Cleats still didn't have it.

Went to Cleats in Green because they said that they would have the game. They didn't get it, instead the screen kept saying "Program not purchased". What a bummer, spent $22.00 on drinks and never saw the game.Guess you don't go back there for a game anymore. As Zips fans, we need to make statements to these businesses by influencing their bottom line. His poor grammar aside... I think the point being made was that Can't's schedule doesn't mean anything if they lose to bad teams, like Akron lost to NIU. Everyone that was saying that Can't "has it figured out" how to schedule forgets that you have to win the games.

Agreed. You all might want to consider that if Can't wins then they will be the MAC team getting the at large bid to the tourney (assuming they dont win the MAC title). That would put a school that is just miles away from us in the NCAA and probably drawing recruits to them. With all of the JUCO transfers they have all it will take is one bad class for them to suck. That would be much more fun than a two bid MAC this year. Screw Can't. I hope the Gaels destroy them.
