Bush league of the other MAC members not sponsoring Men's Soccer. The World's Sport. Nowadays that's almost as bad as us formerly not sponsoring a freaking baseball team. There should be four staples: football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.

Sammy Hunter had a tough shooting night but I thought he looked promising. He obviously has confidence in his 3-point shot & it appears Groce has given him the green light so I think his shot will come around. Kinda disappointed Kobe Mitchell hasn't earned any more PT than a few seconds at the end of the 1st half. With SDSU double-teaming Freeman so much it really opened up some looks from 3 for us. Seemed like the type of game that would be right in Kobe's wheelhouse... if he were capable of contributing at this level.

I'm ignorant about Barstool & Barstool.tv. I was just over there & it looks like you can watch their livestream free of charge, and there are also quite a few pieces to view under "On Demand." But there is also a "Subscribe" button. What's that for if you can watch the livestream for free? Also, I'm going to be out of town Friday night, so does anyone know if the game will be available to stream On Demand later on?

Good point, though. Last week on Zips Live with Joe Dunn, Coach JoeMo mentioned that sometimes people want to see the QB under center on 4th & short but that the QB often doesn't get the needed yardage in those situations & that he feels you just have to trust your offense & play call to get the yard & 1st down. (I'm going to hang onto that for comfort b/c I'd still rather see the QB under center & just lunge forward. 😂)

Those are two very evenly matched teams. WMU's left forward... or wing... (Idk, I'm almost completely ignorant about soccer)... is really good. He was kicking lasers with his left foot from 30 yards out.

According to that rendering it doesn't look like there are chair back seats in any of the upper sections; north, south, east, or west. And there's no way with the track still there that they'd be able to do away with the railing around the track. People would definitely fall into the lower sections. Lol I've been a diehard Zips fan for so long that I have a lot of warm fuzzies associated with the JAR, but I can say objectively that the JAR utterly blows in every conceivable way.

@catdaddyp, what do you think of DL #55 Kyle Thomas? He's currently a junior so we'll have him next year. Have we gotten any more information on Ravontae Holt's possible medical redshirt status? On GoZips.com he's currently listed as a R-Sr. I'm excited to see what freshman Kiawan Murphy adds to the mix, as JoeMo has mentioned him to Joe Dunn on Zips Weekly a couple of times now.

I hope we come out this year with the same defensive intensity we ended last season with. Z-Fence!!!
