  1. crossing my fingers, yes. Keeping my expectations tempered though, as he’s gonna be rusty & have to feel out his role on this team.
  2. ATH Nolan Labuda. You can tell by his hudl video that he's a really good, natural athlete. But he's not really what you'd call a burner and at 5'8", 160 I'm going to definitely guess he's a PWO.
  3. Busy day with 3 commitments! Post #1 updated.
  4. Held offers from Louisville & Kentucky.
  5. I’m looking forward to this game to see the debut of Mikal Dawson.
  6. Most likely a PWO. But if he's got the disposition of his older brother he's definitely someone you'd want in one's program. We're still waiting on a WR (or two). I'm fairly certain Owen Faulkner is also a PWO - though I included him in the updated initial post. I haven't included other PWO's I've seen.
  7. They've gotten their arses handed to them the last two games. A disappointing 88-63 home loss to Duquesne on APS Education Day in front of about 1000 5th graders and then a 76-55 road loss to Butler. They've got to get their moxie back. I can pinpoint when they lost it. Against Cleveland State they were up by 6 with about 2 minutes left in the game and Coach Jackson had them slow down the pace and milk clock. Their offense immediately went ice-cold & CSU came back to win the game. We haven't been able to heat back up since. I'm still irked about them slowing pace -v- CSU. Dance with what got you there.
  8. ABJ: Zips grit out 72-57 win over Southern
  9. A little separation. Very little Ali in this tight game. Zero minutes in the 2nd half? Quality minutes from Tribble.
  10. Player intros. I’d guess there are now 500 here ?
  11. Why are we having a Sunday afternoon game? During a Brown’s game, no less. I’d guess there are only about 300 people here at 6-minutes to tip-off. I hope no recruits are visiting today. Jesus H.
  12. Beacon Journal "Scouting Report." I did learn this game's not being televised.
  13. Got another RB! Jonzell Norrils, RB, 6-1, 195, from Toledo Central Catholic. They were beaten by eventual D-11 state champion La Salle in the semi-finals. This nice interview is from after that loss:
  14. Good call, @LZIp (I posted this earlier today in the wrong thread.)
  15. ABJ: Akron Zips coach Tom Arth maintains team is pointing in right direction
