10:30 a.m. & we only have 3 letters in today. Due to weather, STVM put their Signing Day off till tomorrow. But I can't imagine any D-1 signees delaying their signing due to weather. I'm assuming STVM's Signing Day tomorrow must be lower-level athletes?

If I remember correctly, wasn't Antino hanging his head a lot by the end of last season? I think there were rumors of his imminent transfer while KD was still the Zips' coach.

Thaaaaaank you. I remember... oh, maybe 15 years ago... the AKRON Beacon Journal had a consultant come in & speak about the future of newspapers as media. They published at least one major story about his forecasting. The term he used over and over again was "hyper-local." And then... the AKRON Beacon Journal kept doing business as usual continuing their focus on Cleveland and Columbus. (Hmm, I can't seem to find the emoticon of the little fella beating his head against the brick wall. Too bad, because he would be pertinent right here.)

Hmm, the Akron Zips Football tweet has him listed at RB. He is listed at 6'0" tall, so I suppose that's a little short for a LB? But that gives us three 3-star RB's in this class alone. That's pretty crazy! Add Jemarulin Suggs & we're stacked like pancakes at RB. I'm still crossing my fingers for Marquise Bridges. He was a human highlight film at RB in high school, but I have a feeling we'd use him in the slot.

And let's not forget about LePear Toles! We should have excellent depth next season: PG: Cotton/Jackson W: Ivey/Hester/Parrish/Toles/Utomi/Patton P: Sayles/Riak/K-lac

Here's a guy we might want to be looking at. 6'6", 250 DE/TE from McKinley. EDIT: Whoops. He's from Canton, MICHIGAN (who's uniforms look like McKinley's). I was surprised I hadn't heard anything about him. Lol. So, yeah, whatever.

I noticed that too. I thought the writer, Mike Popovich, may have been confused now that there are two signing days? Idk.

I said Akron cranks out top-shelf RB's, not that the U is getting them. Lol. However, just last year we got two 1st-Team All-Ohioans in Marquise Bridges (if he's eligible - crossing fingers) and Jemarulin Suggs. This year we signed DeVanier Floyd who, IMO, really may be the best of the three.

IMO we should give a scholarship to a QB every year. I thought that was recruiting 101 but we haven't been doing so. And not doing so came back to bite us & derail our season just 2 years ago.
