Blue & Gold

On 1590 Bowden said he broke his collarbone & is done for the year ☹️

Wednesday before Game 1. Are we still missing a depth chart?

GT/ABJ: Zips will face stern test in opener at Nebraska

This was recently tweeted by Janil Brown Don't know if we've cooled on him or if he's cooled on us.

Once again Jared Embick sounds just a little bit too nonchalant about the loss for my taste. Michael Beaven/ABJ: North Carolina State tops Zips 2-0 with two first-half goals I appreciate that Jared is even-keeled, but I think I'd like to see him get a little pissed once in a while.

Is this game getting any tv coverage or perhaps online streaming? GoZips dot com doesn't list any tv/video coverage.

ABJ/Michael Beaven: Sonny Ray Jones II carves his own path, but could lead Ravenna reunion with father

ABJ/Michael Beaven: East seniors Deearius Reese & Kyre Williams set sights on more postseason success before heading to University of Akron

I'm on my phone so can't post the link, but DeAndre Brimage just tweeted that he's out for the year.

Neeley (#57) looks like a stud.

Thank God. Good grief.

GoZips.com video recap You'll have to scroll down.

Here's GT's article for the ABJ: Defense makes a stand in final scrimmage for Zips I was at the scrimmage but left around 10:00. By that point the offense only had a handful of positive plays. GT mentions in his article the snaps from center weren't consistent & that handicapped the offense against an already stout D. He mentions the injuries Captain did, but no new information.

Where's Deng Riak?

Saw that. Awesome! Basketball players weren't built like that 25 years ago.

Agreed. Those are prestigious and important programs. Mathematics and Physics are staples of higher ed.

Thanks, Captain. Judging by the resolve of his quotes, it doesn't sound like it. But if Shawn's on schedule to graduate, could he possibly get an additional year next season because he greyshirted his first year?

No depth chart, but here is the updated roster.

ABJ: Zips looking for bigger things out of their defensive linemen GT writes a good article & gets into the depth rotation of the DL.

I'm on vacation. It'd be great if some updates and commentary were posted!!

And we're still awaiting @Captain Kangaroo 's summary as well! I've got to get a life. Here I am on vacation at the beach & my primary concern is still reading about Zips football. Lol

In the article (posted earlier - somewhere up there) where GT stated Ramart was the only Zips player who didn't look rusty, he also commented that Kato was right in the middle of an after-the-whistle skirmish.

You're spot on, 'Meister. I included those players because they'll be taking 3 scholarships that weren't given out last year & could have potentially gone to incoming high school seniors. But those three players certainly won't be included in the Signing Day press release in February (or whenever they do that now). So my post is definitely off. I'll correct it. Thanks!
