Here is an article from the Ravenna Record Courier. It talks about 3 players that play for Hoban from K.ent and 2 from Ravenna. It states that Hoban S/WR Matt Salopek (6-2, 190) has verballed to Akron. That'd be a huge get. He's only a junior, so would be included in the 2019 recruiting class. Matt, as a junior, is a 2-year starter for Hoban at S, and was named 1st-Team All-Ohio D-II. Admittedly, this is the only place I've seen it published that Matt has verballed to UA. It's not on his twitter feed.

Didn't we have a separate thread for Aurora DB/WR Gavin Blunt? I didn't see one. Anyway, Gavin was named 1st-Team All-Ohio as a DB for the 2nd year in a row. (I don't have a link to post.) So, though he was listed as a WR, I'm going to assume we're going to look at him as a safety.

I posted above about the BUGS loss but, actually, I'm with @a-zip in regards to the MAC & OOC schedules. At least once a week I check up on how all the MAC schools are doing & am always hoping for them to win. I'll do the same with football come bowl season. I just thought I'd get a comical dig in on BUGS. Now K.ent on the other hand? I hope they lose every game. Lol

I'm big on signing a QB in every class. Bowden's little finger obviously knows more about college football than I do, but he hadn't been doing that & our lack of depth at QB last year derailed our season.

Wonder if bringing Ivey off the bench as Sixth Man would totally wreck his confidence?

Just jumping in here so I'm sure this has already been said, but Duvivier doesn't have his J tonight & Ivey still hasn't found any sort of groove yet this season. That's bad games from two of our 3 main guns.
