Me too. I thought with Long coming in Hoban was going to be able to force defenses to be honest by stretching the field like they were able to do w/ Shane Hamm under center. Not so. It was Sperling or bust.

Great topic! We should never, never, never get rid of our gold helmets & our traditional gold-blue-gold uni's, but my favorite alternate uniforms are when we go solid colors w/ all white or all blue head-to-toe

Keon transferred in from Maryland & I thought he’d play straightaway, kinda like our OL transfer from Penn State did last year (I’m forgetting his name… Whigan?). Then with Kabbash Richards there was a lot of hype on the board about his verbal & he had a lot of interest from other schools. With how weak our DE pass rushing was last year I thought he’d also get on the field pretty quickly & (hopefully) remedy that.

At the RT spot I'm surprised to see AJ George and not Keon Kindred. I'm a bit surprised to not see Kabbash Richards in the 2-deep at either DE spot.

Marshall can have him. I was thoroughly unimpressed with him this past year. It blows my mind he has so many D-1 offers. They must see thus-far-unrealized potential there.

Have we begun posting our win/loss projections yet? Vegas is only giving us 3.5 wins this year and they think Temple is going to roll us 😔 The very first game -v- Temple is yuuuuuge. A win, IMHO, sets us up to possibly go bowling, while a loss pretty much puts us behind the 8-ball for the remainder of the season. My projections (as of 7/6) @ Temple - W Morgan State - W @ Kentucky - L @ Indiana - L Buffalo - W NIU - W @ CMU - L @ BUGS - W KSUcks - W @ Miami - L @ EMU - L Ohio - L We go bowling IF we beat Temple and also win every other game I think we should. To go bowling we simply can't have an off game and lose a game we should win. I still say bet the house we win 4 games. But go bowling? IDK. @catdaddyp, do you have any insight into how strong Temple is supposed to be this year? They were basically as bad as we were last year.

Is the Big East going with an East/West conference alignment this season? The three teams I don't see on our schedule are geographically eastern: Georgetown, Villanova, and UConn.
