  1. That’s a good idea.
  2. Oh, that’s right. Now I remember. Thank you.
  3. that name rings a bell but we’ve got too many names to keep straight. Who’s this guy?
  4. In following football recruiting for about 30 years Delvin Morris is the first player I've seen list himself as an OL/DL/ATH. Usually the "ATH's" are kids who can play either DB or WR. 😂 And his hudl highlights mostly show him playing the wildcat position on offense 🤣 He's got tremendous feet for being 6-5, 285. Crazy.
  5. Very true, very true 😅
  6. Something definitely happened. He appointed Milwe as OC & just sort of seemed to mail it in from there on out. He's currently the HC at FBS UL-M (University of Louisiana - Monroe).
  7. After failing to get it going in the air, Caldwell called upon 6′4″ 290 lb. guard and defensive tackle Delvin Morris, who took the snap in the wildcat and carried three defenders with him into the endzone. The Hornets went back to Morris on the two point conversion, and again it was successful as the Hornets cut the lead to six. The Fridge
  8. On my phone but google Delvin Morris from Caldwell high school.
  9. He left an enviable situation with a championship team where he was comfortable and familiar with the university, with his teammates, with the coaching staff, with the coach's system, and with his role within that system... a role in which he knew he had a green light and incredibly long leash from Coach Groce. *sigh*
  10. I didn't know he was now a RedHawk. We were recruiting him out of high school... though I'm not sure how hard. He can shoot 3's.
  11. Alen Kapic posted this yesterday
  12. Coach singing the praise of Tribble again 😂
  13. Amani got a little PT in the 1st half. But zero Kobe and Garvin today.
  14. X is making his way into my somewhat short list of all-time favorite Zips.
  15. Kyle Rominick has entered the TP.
  16. Nope. KSUcks men's basketball has developed a long and illustrious tradition of dickheadery. At KSUcks that tradition apparently never graduates, it just reloads. Could anyone imagine high-character guys like Enrique, Sammy, Tribble, or Hankerson... just to mention a few... on the KSU team?! They'd be absolutely miserable. Thank God for Groce. Something about his character attracts a distinctly different caliber of person than whatever is wrong with the dysfunctional (I won't say degenerate) culture over at PCCC.
  17. With Ball’s Sparks we can see how KSUcks is going to immediately and aggressively double team Freeman. We’re going to have to play a deliberate, slow down game against them. Like we did in the MAC tournament last year. We can’t run with them. We can’t afford one-on-one ball early in the shot clock. Pass the ball & make them stay focused on D for the full possession.
  18. They’re playing extremely good, aggressive defense. And they can score the ball. They’re legit. But they were legit last year too.
  19. ^^Great article by GT. John Groce on the 4 freshmen: "Amani keeps getting better. Tavari, he keeps getting better. Kobe keeps understanding more of what we need from him...Nate Johnson had a great game the other night..." Interesting, and gracious way of complimenting Kobe. I think Kobe's going to transfer down a level after this season. GT on Greg Tribble's defense: To get a feel for his defensive skills, look at the clamps he put on the Eagles’ Emoni Bates, the Mid-American Conference’s leading scorer who was held to two points on 1-of-12 shooting against the Zips. John Groce on Enrique Freeman: “He's having a phenomenal experience of maxing out everything that Akron has to offer,” Groce said, “and so that's pretty neat.” Enrique has already earned his bachelor's degree and is now working on his master's. 🙏💪💪
  20. CMU has a couple tough freshman. Faith Stinson played great D on CMU’s gargantuan center.
  21. The game’s won in the trenches 💪💪
