Anyone notice that Hester isn't on the gozips roster? I know he's not eligible until January, but I'd still think he'd be listed?

I run it on a Chromecast and it sucks, but I think it's the Chromecast. 1-2 sec freezes every minute or two.

Army is a decent team. Buffalo QB Jackson has a strong arm but is incredibly inaccurate. I watched the entire game and I was not impressed. OU is mediocre. The game they blew to Cincinnati and UMass is giving them a game. BG just got stomped by Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech that was previously winless vs FBS. Miami has 2 wins. An FCS win vs Austin Peay and a 2 score win over a bad BG team. Kent is Kent. It will be a huge disappointment if we don't repeat as MAC East champs.

There's pessimistic and realistic. As of today we're plus Riak and Hester (January). And minus Duvivier, Cotton, and Torrey. I don't see us automatically being better or deeper, as of now. These 3 scholarships are very important, and as of now we're only on the radar of a bunch of solid prospects. Need commits.

I'll get excited when we get a commitment. I don't understand all the optimism right now. We're 5 days from signing day and we don't have even one verbal for the 2 slots we had before Patton left. I'll get excited if this staff closes the deal with some of these kids.

It's fun to debate. No one knows. We haven't seen any freshman, let alone a big, get forced to the floor like Kostelac in over a decade. I see some good things. He shows some good things in warm ups and some flashes in games. I'll be curious to watch him develop. He's got good body control and some athleticism. I don't see him being All-MAC, but possibly a solid player for 4 years.

With 6 games left on the slate, would love to see this young Zips squad hold serve at home and maybe pick one or even two off on the road (BG and Kent are winnable games). A 4-2 finish would end us at 15-15 (8-10) which was about where a lot of folks thought we'd be. These guys are beatable. Zips are 3 point home dogs. One game at a time and get us a home first round tournament game.

There's a reason why it usually takes a blatant foul to get a whistle in a single possession game with time nearing expiration. Most times you watch a game you won't see an instant whistle just because a guy falls down. I can take bad calls here and there, because generally they even out. Calls that help decide games? Those are frustrating.
