Happy we got the win and overcame a poor first half to do so. However, the young Zips will have to play a much better 40 minutes to beat Tenn. Martin. Don't be fooled by their name or their conference. They can play a little bit.

The Vikes are an ideal opening opponent. They are essentially in a similar position as we are as the Felton era begins. They struggled a bit before pulling away from powerhouse Cederville so they will probably take their lumps in a rebuilding season. I see this as game that presents a solid opportunity for our guys to get an opening win and gain some confidence. That said ,our lack of depth scares the Hell out of me.

Thought Kato did some good things out there. He's going to be a good one.

I suspect he's good to go because Bahl is no real slouch.

This season has been amazing. I'm convinced now that God loves Terry Bowden and God loves the Zips.

He certainly possesses the pedigree and the brains to be great HC someday. Like you say though, he probably needs a little more seasoning. He was a very heady player and I like him a lot.

Not sure if Brian Walsh is following Archie to Indiana but he'll make a fine head coach some day. Might be too early right now but this guy has what it takes to be a good one. I don't think it is the poorest idea to grab a bright young mind and give him a couple years to settle in.

I agree with this post exactly. Groce grates at my every nerve. He may be the only guy that would have the ability to destroy my passion for Zips hoops altogether.
