  1. This place has really became quite anal

  2. Yeah, he's fun to watch and he looks to be the quickest player we've had since Cedrick was here. I'd guess that Jackson is probably the quicker of the two.
  3. We won't beat a team like Toledo until we become more athletic at the 3-4 spots.
  4. Bumpity bump bump, last chance to get in from the start is Tuesday. I'm throwing down the gauntlet, I will be the leader from this board......... Unless somebody beats me
  5. Mr Griswold, You are spot on, it is what it is.
  6. One of my off shores has a total set at 132. Barring an extended late foul fest I see no way this game goes over 132. I may be a bridge jumper here because I'm throwing down on this one. Of course, I realize that by doing this that the Zips will probably shoot 70% due to the fact that the hoop Gods hate me.
  7. The Herd really misses Shawn Smith who is out with a shoulder injury. Without him on the floor I like our chances to right the ship. Still, given our youth and shooting woes I'm not sure that we will run them off the floor. We really need some consistent numbers from the wings. I expect a low scoring grinder. I'll call it 66-57 or so.
  8. Not a win but thought that Buffalo looked pretty damn good ,by MAC standards, at Wisconsin last night. They have a nice mix of a couple of tough guys in the paint and some speed in the backcourt. They actually led at the half, holding Wisc to just 26 pts. The Bulls will be a handful for sure. In fact, Eastern and Toledo will be as well. We might just be the 4th or 5th best in our conference this season. Lets join conf USA.....
  9. Great post Zips Mom. We are very happy to have him. Kwan has made great progress so far and I look forward to watching him the next couple of years. He's going to be a really good one for the Zips.
  10. The day that Jeff Boals bolted our program suffered a huge loss. In particular, the development of our big guys.
  11. Thanks C.K. Can I go with none of the above??
  12. We certainly could lose again but we shouldn't. I believe that a very, very important part of the Zips offensive scheme require some consistent production from our wings and right now we aren't getting it. If we could get about 15 ppg or better combined from Reggie and Jake it would take a lot of pressure off of our guards and Pat. 35% shooting from the floor from your wings just does not quite cut the mustard. It seems that it is few and far between games when Reg and Jake are both on. On those occasions when that does happen our offense looks great. Just my take.......
  13. Yeah, thats the answer I kind of expected . Comical indeed, have a great super bowl sunday !!
  14. It's lame.....Period
  15. Nope, you tell me . Diggs was Ok but were you really impressed with anybody other than Tree's game last night? I was there but had a couple of drinks under my belt so perhaps I missed it. I do hope that you can clear that up for me. TIA
  16. PS... Just a thought, but Isn't it about time we can type the name K E N T on our keyboard without spacing or whatever?? Last I checked, we are adults here. And the AK Rowdy's sub forum last posting in was in March?? That is pretty lame.
  17. I wasn't upset at all by the actions of their fans storming the floor. As I stated, I thought it to be comical. Normally, storming the floor is reserved for clinching a title or a titanic upset of a national power by a huge underdog. A 2 point victory by a 2 point underdog on the first week of Feb is hardly "storming" material. Seriously, we laughed like hell when we saw them coming. I only got tho hear the last few seconds of KD but I think downplaying the loss was the correct call. We just came off an emotional win for Pete where we played one of the best defensive games I had seen in a couple of years. We get beat on a 100-1 banked three on a night when we played like s%*t. It happens. Loved it when KD said we'll beat them when it counts. Tree was huge again, but nobody was there to help on this night. Probably the two most concerning question marks in my mind were how Pat just totally disappeared, and Nick's basketball IQ on this particular night. Both players need to master some sort of similitude of consistency. I'm never quite sure what to expect from these two when we play. Also Can't did do a good job of closing out. Some nights we don't make our 3 pointers but on this night we had a tough time of even getting one off that wasn't forced over a defender. Lastly... I almost never complain about officiating but Eppley and Beaver should turn in their whistles. On Saturdays, when almost everybody plays, the big ten tends to get gets the better officials and we get whats left. I was surprised to Steratore on the floor however, he's a pretty high profile ref with a solid reputation, must have been a logistical thing.
  18. Can't wait to get a piece of those classless thugs down the road. Storming the floor was comical but i get it, probably their only remaining opportunity. Not too long ago I recall K S U going into these games expecting to win. Now they are so shocked they storm the floor in early Feb. When it comes to suck, Can't wrote the book..
  19. If you think its dark at the Covo then try Millett down in Oxford. The ushers are fitted with coal miner's hard hats. The darkest gym I've ever been in.
  20. he's a blossoming rap artist, correct ??
  21. Must have been turn back the clock day at the Convo as Jim Christian won a meaningful game.
