I'd prefer a two-star recruit on the field to a three-star recruit on academic suspension. You could compile a list of no less than 25 of JD's recruits that won't play this year. It blows my mind that the athletic department and coaching staff don't keep better tabs on academic performance and put more effort into helping these kids pass classes.
This is extremely frustrating. You can assemble all the talent in the world, but it doesn't mean anything if they're not on the field. Time to rethink our recruiting strategy?
