Thanks in advance from those of us who cannot attend to everyone posting live game-time photos.

That was last year. This year we pin them inside the 20, every time.

Whats wrong with kicking it inside the 5 and making them either fair catch it or pin them deep?

Do you suppose we are getting close to seeing a depth chart??? -
The adventure of Wrong Way Parker may seem like news to some of our younger posters who were still in grade school at the time he became infamous. 2012!!! How time flies.

Game 1: SFU @ Akron ZIPS - Score Prediction (POLL)

One sure sign of the increased excitement surrounding Zips football this year is the response to this game 1 poll. It's only a couple of days till the first game and already 31 fans have responded to the poll question., that's right 31. I don't know what the response to a similar poll was last season, but I'll bet it was a lot less than 31. -

I think the Zips will be playing a plain vanilla offense to neutralize the scouting effort of the Zips next opponent. Despite this I believe the Zips will be inspired by the fact that there are more than 10K actual butts in seats and will win by 4 or more scores. After all 4 scores could amount to as little as 8 points (4 safeties). If the Zips can't score at least 8 points against an average FCS team they have really big problems and I don't believe that is the case. -
Looks like "some Ikea lockers are placed right in the middle of an empty Walmart" is an excellent description. However, I'm not sure it's an empty Walmart because I think I can see the light from a blue light special being conducted right behind the locker room.

I was under the impression that the locker rooms at the Info were very nice. Have heard that the locker rooms at the Rubber Bowl had a bad influence on visiting teams. We might try getting a Rubber Bowl quality locker room for the visitors at the Info.

The temperature in Hell is unrelated to OSU's reluctance to play here; hot, cold, it doesn't matter, they aren't coming here, and as already stated, and I can stress this strongly enough - the chance that either UD or X will come to Akron to play the Zips in basketball are slim and none and slim has left the building.

I say that bc that's the way it is. They may occasionally invite Akron to play at their place, but they don't want to lose the money associated with an ooc home game. I posted on here some time ago that Bob Huggins told me he would consider bringing the Mountaineers to Akron to play if we would provide (to the best of my memory) a $275,000 guarantee (which is what they were clearing per home game).

So did the Zips get screwed by the MAC or did the MAC give the Zips an opportunity to demonstrate their greatness? Lets call the Zips plus the 5 teams Hilltopper listed (ignoring WMU) as the Big Six. How many of the Big Six is each member of the Big Six playing twice? Akron 5 UB 4 OU 3 Tol 3 BSU 3 KSU 3

You are correct; I completely forgot that. Of course at the time the Zips whopped up on them virtually everyone was beating them. They didn't use it as an excuse but I think with all the deaths in the players and coach's families they were a bit distracted. They did manage to pull it together later in the season making the big dance and winning a game in the first four. That's the team I thought might beat the Zips.

True; and the Zips still have their share of bunnies hopping into town. Last year, a game against Wright State probably would have ended in a L This year the Zips chances for a W are higher because two of Wright States better players have moved on thru the portal to Ohio State and Virginia Tech. They have done a pretty good job of replacing them but I'm not yet sure how the replacements are going to blend with the team.

If the Volunteers can continue to loose players at a slightly higher rate than they have during the last week they may have to forfeit the game to the Zips. all kinds of trouble on old rocky top

THIS YOUNG MAN CAN JUMP & HE IS A FUTURE ZIP. WHO DO YOU THINK IT IS (REALLY BIG PRIZE FOR THE WINNER) -
I noticed the 2019 graduation date and watched the film he forwarded. Andrew may stand a better chance of catching on with a D2 team, and would probably be a valuable addition to most D3 teams.

I have attended club hockey games at other schools. They are a blast.
