  1. I respectfully disagree a little on this one. The committee has shown us some kindness in the past. I've forgotten offhand what the Zips RPI was in 2015, but I'm fairly confident it was not 1-4; however, the Zips were the #4 seed.
  2. And you left a little early....wah. Happily stayed to shake players' hands on their way to team room under the stands. The result kept me from getting too cold. Warmed up in the car on the way home. Thanks to the other die hard Zips fans who sat through those conditions to support our deserving team. Go Zips!
  3. Well deserved...
  4. Couldn't say for sure, but that's a good guess/reasoning as to start times, given the return to standard time, unless the MAC makes WMU bring in light trucks or move to an alternate field that has lights such as Kalamazoo College. As far as 1st or 2nd game, usually 2v3 is the first game and 1v4 is the 2nd, but that's when the 2nd game is scheduled in "prime time"...a time which allows folks to attend after work.
  5. Why not just say you want seeds 1–4. The Zips have only advanced to the College Cup in recent years when they had all home games prior to College Cup.
  6. Check it, but I believe the top 16 get a first round bye and the other 32 play on a week night. Seeds are 1-16.
  7. Perhaps they're under investigation......oh, wait, that's
  8. Just have to take it one game at a time and not look ahead of the next opponent.
  9. #2 Akron will play #3 SIUE on Friday, Nov 10th. #4 is TBD.
  10. Corrupt...NCAA. You jest?
  11. RPI rules...not wins. Who were the 13 wins against?
  12. That doesn't seem to agree with this as far as regular season champion...http://www.mac-sports.com/documents/2015/8/27/2015_Men_s_Soccer_Record_Book.pdf
  13. I can't find the MAC soccer tie breaking procedures. What happens if SIUE, Akron, and WMU end the regular season in a 3-way tie at 4-1?
  14. 19th century thinking
  15. 13. Joao Moutinho 31. Daniel Strachan 50. David Egbo
  16. I've loved the Sounders ever since that day in 2009 when they took Steve Zakuani #1 overall in the MLS Draft. Steve was good for them and they were/are good to him. Then, of course, our speedy right back DeAndre Yedlin, a Seattle native and Sounders Academy product, joined us for 2 seasons, went on to become their starting RB and on to even greater things. I can't help but love the Sounders and hope that Nick and Tor make their way to CLink one day.
  17. I think I'll stick with the live view inside First Energy Stadium-Cub Cadet Field. No worries about the camera work, announcing, replays, on-screen graphics and I get to vocally support my team and yell at the opponents.
