Misleading caption under that picture. That had to be Nick Hinds' 1st goal. I wouldn't call that breaking up a play. I don't think Nick and Bryce were on the field at the same time the rest of the match. So, this picture had to be Nick's 1st goal.

I want to see him go to MLS one day, but I'm not so sure that is this year. He is getting his confidence back, and I'm really happy for him, but I think he would be much better served to be at Akron at least 1 more year with both a Spring and Fall 2018. I'm definitely biased toward the Zips, but Akron is a much better place to grow than going to MLS too early. Also, are you sure the Sounders don't have Nick's HG rights?

Looking at the replay, Brennan returned to the pitch when the match ended (or earlier?). He was definitely on the pitch when Jared was having words with the BUGS asst coach. Brennan should not have returned to the field at all.

I didn't see it, but was told that #14 made contact with a ref.

I think he was pretty angry with the way the ref was allowing the BUGS thugs to get out of hand.

I agree there is nothing around Crew Stadium. I think FC Cincy benefits from all of the restaurants and bars nearby and the Crew probably would too. However, I don’t see entry/exit improving in a downtown locale. Current location is very convenient to I71. It also affords significant space for parking and tailgating.

I enjoy going when I do, but it’s too far to be a season ticket holder. That’s 3 hours round trip. I don’t stay overnight but it ends up being a long trip as I’m fortunate to join the Trapp’s at their tailgate before and after the matches I attend. I always end up heading home about 1 hour after the match is over. I will hate if/when this ends.

There is a problem with the line you drew on Zips Mens Soccer attendance. You have no data points in the graph from 2004-08. I know that before they began selling season tickets in 2009, attendance did not break 1000. If it did, it was rarely, and not on average. You cannot show that line as average attendance declining since 2004; since, 2010, perhaps, but not since 2004. Attendance likely increased from 04-10, then dropped with a slight uptick in 15 when the Zips returned to the College Cup.
