Although the scores at the MLS Combine don't matter, I still like seeing our Head Coach & his Timbers assistant, Team X coaches, win. Team X 1-0 first day at the combine. http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/01/08/highlights-team-x-vs-team-ace-mls-combine-2016?autoplay=true -
Our game on ESPNU tonight... “I didn’t measure the trouble I was getting into,” Abreu told ESPN.com about his time at Akron, which will face Western Michigan at 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU on Friday night. “Let me serve as an example.” Great story of someone learning from a huge mistake and turning his life around. Good for Alex and good for Coach Dambrot for helping him.

Gotta love the respect we get in the great Pacific NW. Chris Rifer @ChrisRifer Valentin makes tons of sense. Nice piece of depth at fullback. And, for the #narratives lovers out there, went to a good college. #RCTID 11:13 AM - 8 Jan 2016 -

Welcome back. I was just coming on here to post this and was pleasantly surprised to see you had. I knew Jared was going to coach one of the teams. Happy to see he's teamed with a Timbers' assistant. I do love our continued connection to the current MLS Cup Champions. More promising Timbers' Academy players, please. I'm hoping that the Crew claimed Andrew as a Homegrown, but I have no information. I've been wondering why he wouldn't be considered a homegrown for them, though. Andrew Souders, Wil Trapp, and Chad Barson on the same team would be sweet. Edit: After posting this above, I saw on twitter that supposedly Crew said on Dec 11th they weren't offering Andrew a contract. (disappointing) -

Update on GA class from SBI http://bit.ly/1ReIcfj 4- RICHIE LARYEA, Akron Has been offered a Generation adidas deal, but has yet to sign a deal. If Yaro and Danladi bolt to Europe, MLS could push harder to ensure Laryea signs. He’s a sure-fire Top 5 pick.
