Great defense the last 2+ minutes!! X with a buzzer beater to tie the game at 32 at the half. Entertaining first half. Gotta keep it up in the second half. Limit the offensive boards, keep the defense active, and get someone else involved besides X.

my god the offensive boards by UB are killing us lead up to 8. Zips need to stay patient and not force shots and stay active on defense. Williams is very good. Wynn had good defense and he hit the 3 in his face.

Absolutely awful way to finish the game by CMU... Toledo player gets fouled with 7.9s left (80% + FT shooter), missed the front end of the and-1, and CMU takes a contested 3 pointer with plenty of time left to drive to the hoop only down 1. Toledo survives 72-71

Toledo takes the lead with 10 seconds to go. CMU tries to inbound under their basket with an awful pass in which allows the Toledo defender to knock the ball off the CMU player, giving the ball to Toledo with 9.2s left

If they've chosen to stop feeding the boys before games to make them hungry, I hope it continues the remainder of the season! True, but good defense can mitigate a poor offensive stretch. The Zips have seemed to play with more tenacity on the defensive side of the ball these last few games.

Meaning us and Buffalo if Buffalo finishes at 14-5 in conference and us at 14-6? They would be the higher seed because of winning percentage.

Personally I'd rather face Can't then Buffalo. For that to happen, Buffalo needs to beat Toledo and Can't. If they drop either of those matchups we face them in the first round.

So a few guys who are huge A-10 fans put on a simulation of the A-10 tournament using the NBA 2K20 video game with custom college rosters. They put the event on YouTube and it was such a success they decided to do a full simulation of the NCAA tournament, complete with selection show and everything. They are streaming every game along 4 YouTube channels and the first round was yesterday, complete with a few upsets (including #5 Suckeyes losing to #12 Rhode Island). The Zips are in the tournament as the #13 seed in the East, taking on #4 Louisville in Sacramento. The game is at 1:20PM this afternoon on channel 2. CMU giving Buffalo all they can handle late in the second half. Personally I'd like to see UB win tonight and then lose tomorrow night. If that happens I don't see how the committee could leave the Bulls out. So even though Akron won't be one of them, I'd like to see the MAC get two bids.

They were terrible both ways. 29 fouls combined in the first half is unnecessary.

Maybe not, but as someone else has said there is absolutely no flow to this game whatsoever because there is a whistle nearly every possession. It is making for an awful game to listen to.

Are the refs for the second game available for the second half?

Tough game for sure. Credit to Maryland for keeping us off our game the entire 90 minutes. We never got comfortable. Reminded me a lot of the Stanford game last year. Regarding the PK, the first one was unfortunately the right call. You don't have to make contact to the opposing player in order for a high kick to be called. Of course the Maryland player made sure it looked like he was kicked. Also, the red card was probably also the right call. Any time you are the last defender and you deny an obvious goal scoring opportunity that is cause for a direct red. Hats off to the boys for even being in this position. What a great end of the season run.
