Yeah there is a pretty decent crowd here. I'm terrible at estimating but I'd say around 2K? Zeke looks in top form.

Zips look solid in the first half. Our depth is definitely going to take us far this year. We are stacked at the guard position. 45-17 at the half for those who wonder. Only 3 of 6 from the line though. That can't continue. I'm getting some decent pictures too so expect those later.

That is AWESOME. I wish I had the balls to say something like that. Although at the game today the Flush mascot came up to our section and wasn't really doing much but I looked at him and was like what are you doing up here you're supposed to be over there idiot. Not sure if he heard me but he quickly turned around looking dejected.

31-14 NIU. We net 25 yards on DeVoe's legs, who rushes for his first 100 yard game. The -75 comes from the other backs and PN16. NIU has one of the best rush defenses in the country.

It's official- I'm trying out for the kicking team next year. I can't imagine I'd do much worse. No excuses for missing a 23 yard field goal.

didn't get to watch the entire game but I saw the injury and I thought it was a knee injury. But I heard Frenchie say on the radio he broke his leg? I looked in the other threads and didn't see much mention on it. What's the official word?

absolutely, I don't remember who said it a few years ago but he said during pile ons if you felt a finger you broke it, even if it was your teammate's. Or if your mouth was by it you bit it. It was a professional player, a linebacker I believe.

Haha I told my inside scoop that they needed to do that and he laughed. If they did I would try out. I still consider myself awesome for hitting a 50 yarder on the practice field last year =P

yep, as the others have stated, it is not considered a foul if the facemask is not grabbed. The same usually goes with lineman. As long as they don't close their fists with the guy's facemask in hand they are usually okay.

yes. They held open tryouts yesterday for a couple scout team quarterbacks. Apparently about 30 guys showed up.

Sewell suffered a stinger and left to get some other guys some PT. He was a monster prior though. I would imagine he'd be good to go saturday.

Are they officially getting new ones?Based on the all-black, all-matching new (Nike) warmups the team was sporting at the Info this past saturday, I'm pretty sure they are officially getting new ones. I know it was the plan.
