This is a fun team to watch. Movement off the ball, crashing the boards.. I'm not ready to say we're better than the typical Zips team at this point in the year, but the rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. We're going to be just fine.

You've shifted the goal posts quite a bit now. There's a difference in wanting the conference as a whole to do well and rooting for your arch rival. That's all I'll say on it as this is a Chattanooga thread and this argument could go on for a while.

Anyone happen to watch any Chattanooga hoops yet? If I remember right they played a pretty fast paced havoc-style game when they made the tourney a year or two ago. Not sure if Paris continued that or not

Because Kent being good has helped us in that regard before? You think Wichita needed anyone else to be good in the MVC to become a power? Gonzaga didn't need anyone. We sure as hell don't need Kent.

There are going to be enough in total, but you're going to have conferences like the B1G unable to fill all their spots with a few playing in NY6 bowls, and conferences like the MAC with more teams than bowl contracts. Those bowls have to fill their spots from somewhere

Besides NIU in the Orange Bowl, it'd arguably be the best bowl a MAC team has gotten into. The ACC calls it one of their "Tier 1" bowls. It's a fun place and beats the heck out of Alabama

Yesterday it was pretty evident the plan was to play it safe, protect the ball and make Kent beat our defense. The football equivalent to watching sausage being made, but the end result was fantastic.

My cousin wrestles for OSU and they have a pin chain. They fully admit they got the idea from Miami but the kids love it. Whatever gets the players motivated, who cares if it's original or not.

Yeah. For me it's not so much of this being that big of a deal, but an overall continuation of athletics continually shooting themselves in the foot. New scoreboards? Let's use standard definition video and not show player stats. Brilliant!
