This is such a weird year that I don't know if you can even compare schedules. For one, I'm sure some of the games were already scheduled before KD left, and two, Groce got a late start and slots were mostly filled across the country. I'm curious to see what next year's looks like

MacVittie was getting work at DE and playing special teams by the end of the season. The staff thought enough of him to not send him in for the last play of the game at Syracuse when Max Browne went down and instead blew Kenny Pickett's redshirt for one hail mary from his own 20. I'm not sure how much of a future he has as a D1 QB. He was a WR at Moeller until his Senior year, so I'm curious if he goes somewhere as a WR or 1-AA as a QB. I'm more interested in their freshman kicker Scarton that should be transferring.

I get FAU fans being a little bummed. Imagine if there was a Rubber Bowl (heh) that we were placed in. Just wouldn't really have the same feel playing in the same place. Let's hope the FAU players aren't up for it either

The MAC traded their Camelia tie-in for a Boca spot. There wasn't a Camelia spot for Buffalo or WMU to take.

The Cure Bowl would be better than any bowl with a MAC tie-in. At the Citrus Bowl, bigger payout than any MAC bowl, decent matchup..

Conference champions /= national championship contenders. I'd love to see all conference champs in, but the best we have to hope for is a shot at one spot, in my opinion. Toledo or Akron, Fresno, North Texas, Troy would be 30 pt dogs to P5 champs and would draw peanuts in TV ratings. It's just not realistic

Oh what the heck What's PSU's best win? Ignoring the fact that OSU would be a conference champ with 11 wins, and PSU wouldn't be and would have 10 wins.. There's a simple way to tell who is better - play it on the field! It's exactly why Clemson is ranked over Auburn. OSU would have two top ten wins. I don't believe PSU has a win over a ranked team. It's really not even an argument. The argument comes down to OSU vs Bama if Wisconsin and Oklahoma go down.

My vote is an 8 team playoff - 5 P5 champs, the highest rated G5 team and 2 at larges.

Saw some things I liked, and some I didn't tonight. Defense was very good in the first half, rotation was nice, crashed the boards.. second half seemed like we were a half step behind getting back. Lot of 3 on 2 fastbreaks that led to some fouls. Not sure if that's a depth thing and not much left in the tank but that needs addressed. Offensively a lot more movement than I'm used to seeing from a Zips team. A lot of cuts to the basket that we didn't recognize and make the pass for an easy basket, but that will get fixed as they gel. Utomi, man. I haven't seen another MAC game yet but I'm pretty sure no one has the talent of Utomi, Ivey and Duvivier. If the 4-8 guys can continue to develop we'll be a force in the conference, per usual. Little worried about our inside game, but I'm sure some Warriors fans were thinking that a few years ago. If we can use our speed and athleticism to impose our game and make teams adapt instead of playing someone else's game, they'll be alright.

Man if Utomi can keep developing on that inside game and banging like that, I'm not sure who in the MAC is going to slow him down, let alone stop him.
