Rutgers really isn't comparable. Crappy arena, an hour outside of the city they claim, a football team to fund.. And Fordham is in the A-10. The A-10 is a decent conference, but it's not the Big East.

I didn't say it's a good team. Put a good coach with support from the admin in the middle of Chicago and see what happens.

Apparently Constitution contemplated playing up to AAAA this year but stuck in A (smallest division). The private schools in Philly are getting ridiculous. I know they have a few D-1 players out of a graduating class of 60. Good to see Malik held his own.

Day one last year was insane. I remember sitting here watching game after game to go OT. There was UConn vs St Joes, NDSU, Harvard... It was nuts.

I think that's a good thing. Nothing I hate more than watching a coach trying to fit a square peg into a round hole by trying to adapt players to their system instead of vice versa.

Malik Miller from Farrell, PA, down the road from me, is being recruited by KD. He was at the Toledo game I believe and Akron coaches were at a few of his games the past few weeks. Averaging 23 ppg, he's a 2 guard. They just beat Kennedy Catholic last night at a pretty packed Beeghly Center (pretty strange for a PIAA semi, but YSU is 15 minutes from each HS) to advance to the state final. There isn't much out there on him, but thought some may be interested by that.

I agree 100%. There have to be other teams in our situation that would play us. Just anything to get rid of the Arkansas Pine-Bluffs and Coppin State creampuff home sked.

KD spends countless hours analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of his teams and individual players. If there was an area he thought he could improve upon, I am sure he has studied the pros and cons of a new strategy before implementing it or discarding it. Am I doing it right?

I think CBB teams are usually on a 2 year cycle so I'd expect something new this year

Not to nitpick but you have me wondering.. Was the Hawaii a set schedule? I thought the Zips could have won it all but ISU knocked them out of the winner's bracket. Maybe I remember wrong. I do remember not liking the Puerto Rico format at all.
