  1. I think we all know the key is to take a lead into the final 5 minutes since we are the best closers in the county
  2. I would bet on UB if I had to bet. Luckily I don't have to because it's pretty wide open. If it wasn't for the new format of 5 games in six days I wouldn't be surprised if a 5-10 seed won it all.
  3. I didn't mean a lot of potential They have the potential to be serviceable starters. You're right in that they probably won't blossom into much more than they are right now. But I think if they just shoot their career averages, we wouldn't be in such bad shape this year. The 3 spot was a black hole on this squad.
  4. I think the potential is there between BJ, Jake and Reggie. Maybe Aaron? But I think he's developing into more of a 4. Hope something clicks with one of them over the summer.
  5. You're killing me man. "Shooting" fouls.. and we're talking about free throws. You know what leads to free throws? Shooting fouls. I don't think it's that narrow. If the majority of the difference isn't because of shooting fouls, just tell me, what is it?
  6. I'd much rather have our side of the bracket as it is.. But even then, UB waiting on a week's rest vs. us on our 4th game in 5 days just seems like too much. Last night was a big blow.
  7. I'd say all the loose ball fouls and screens, etc. are probably even over the course of the year. Your difference comes down to the perimeter vs. paint. 116 FTs seems like a lot, but like I said, it's 5 per game. That's less than 3 extra fouls every game. The other side is that the refs screwed us over the entire course of the season and that's a little much for me.
  8. Small part? Offensive fouls don't generate free throws, so we're strictly talking fouls against with the ball. I'd guess a large majority of the fouls are committed in the paint vs the perimeter. We've been a perimeter team and that's part of the deal that comes with it. 116 FTs is about 5 per game so far, I don't think it's as bad as it sounds.
  9. Are you blaming the refs or our style of play for that differential?
  10. I listened to this one, so I can't comment on the refs.. But that sounds right. We take so many three pointers, I wouldn't expect to ever get to the line more than our opponent. I'm actually surprised we've done it twice.
  11. Can't State won at BGSU. Everything was lined up for a huge showdown at Can't State on Friday but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
  12. Because there are other better, easier options. UA needs to figure out how make the game experience better than sitting at home and watching it on ESPN3 in HD. This problem isn't limited to just UA.
  13. Seems like some people are more interested in explaining why their generation was better
  14. 14-0 with a Fiesta Bowl win no doubt about it.
  15. Wtf were they doing both wearing dark? Especially with that court
  16. The more I look at it, the more I think we'll probably get a top 4 seed if we win out.
  17. I'm sorry, was this an actual idea? Or quote? Can the OP post a link or something?
  18. It looked like they had them too. That's disappointing
  19. Wichita is ranked 11th and UNI smacked them at home so I'm not sure today's game would mean much one way or the other.
  20. That was cool. There are a lot of little things we mention that add up to become a lot of reasons people won't come out to games. That's a little reason in the good direction. Adds a cool atmosphere and I can picture myself as an 8 year old having a blast during the intros.
  21. I say we rename it to NEO University to crap on Can't and YSU
  22. I think we go as far as those two take us in March.
  23. #teamohioU ??
  24. You might wanna take a look at the list of rivalry games that take place on Black Friday.
  25. All Saturday away games too. This is nice
