    Although looking at divisions, we would have a heck of a basketball division with UA, MTSU, Western Kentucky and Old Dominion. Not terrible travel in that division either, I suppose.

    I was in for the CUSA a few years back.. But I'm not sure it's an upward move at this point. Competition is a little bit better.. But terrible travel, no rivals, not much local interest. Not many "names" that will draw fans out to games either. I think I'm in the stay put camp, unless we can get into the AAC at some point.

    It's always nice to have informed, connected posters. GP1 was a former player, and knew what he was talking about. I wasn't a fan at first, but he was usually right, and I ended up agreeing with him a lot of the time. Here's to hoping he is wrong on the future of the program. Hope to see you back though, GP1.

    10 bucks to park is really nothing. Go to any game outside the MAC and you will be happy to find a ten dollar spot.

    You're missing the point. If there is a better QB on the roster, he'd be playing. The coaches see these guys more than us. I'm more than fine with a competition for the starting job next year.

    They already ruined them by that point. You really think through 16 years they never had a good QB on the roster? They'll do it to Hoyer too. Every QB knows they're on a short leash, the fans turn on them their first bad game.. It's not a good environment to succeed and I don't want to see that at Akron.

    Yup agreed. 4 game roadie in 6 days... Wish we could have hung on but it happens. Nothing to be alarmed about, PSU isn't a B1G bottom-feeder this year. Newbill is a stud.

    I enjoyed Gaudio. Actually knew the game and announced it like a coach. Was nice to hear someone with an interest in the game instead of rambling about the Duke/UNC game in 3 months.

    If say, 100 of us pledged a thousand apiece, pretty lofty goal to start with.. That's 0.1% of an 80 million dollar project. Not to rain on the parade, but our donations are relatively meaningless, it's the big donors that gets things going. I really don't know how many UA has.. Maybe Akron's T. Boone Pickens will step up soon

    Nice win! 3-1 with wins over PAC-12 and SEC teams with a chance for a B1G win coming up. Tree-less life seems a little less scary now.

    Teams playing some good ball right now. Tough defense and Pat's finally playing like he knows he's bigger than everyone. Jake not getting too many minutes, wonder if he's 100%

    USC has had arguably more recent success than Miami. We slaughtered them. We were down, what, 5 at half? We can compete. I didn't "expect" them to lose by 28, and they shouldn't have. Miami probably won't be a tournament team.
