  1. I think the biggest mistake anyone has made was throwing the ball from our own 30 on the last play of the second half vs. Miami.

  3. What theory is this?
  4. There's a simple way to answer this.. Was Pohl in pads on the sidelines?
  5. Pohl saying he's 100%, and doctor's clearing him (which btw, DiG, doesn't mean his symptoms went away Saturday morning - there's a timetable followed and if he's symptom free over that time period, he's cleared) are very different things. As for the Woodson preference, I'm not going down the conspiracy road. I'd say TB probably didn't want to play a QB who didn't have the week of preparation, and he probably had a game plan ready for Tommy.
  6. If the doctors cleared him, he's fit to play. Whether or not he was adequately prepared is a different story, but waiting longer after you're cleared hasn't showed that concussion risk decreases.. If he was cleared, he was 100% symptom free and available. As an aside, I haven't actually read from a credible source that he was actually cleared, did I miss that?
  7. Forgetting Kincade as well. Not that this is a bad problem.

  9. Price isn't keeping people away. The poor product for the past n years is. Your solution is short sighted. Do some research on the Florida Panthers and their discounted/free tickets and what they're doing now to remedy their mistakes.
  10. Sounds like your example is perfect. Once we drop prices, we can't raise them because people expect half off of the product. Thanks.
  11. Agreed. And when people finally want to go, we can't raise the prices and piss everyone off. So we are where we are.
  12. Okay perhaps not dirt cheap, but pretty darn cheap.
  13. $25 is dirt cheap for a sporting event
  14. I'm with GP1. Maybe we could have had a better game plan, maybe not. But the game plan we had put us in position to win the game and we shot ourself in the foot.
  15. Turnovers lost it. Defense played well enough to win but we beat ourselves. Good news is that there are still 5 winnable games coming up.
  16. I went to the Pitt-VT Thursday night and saw Pitt run a great deal of read option, something that Voytik was familiar with from high school. I'm not sure if we had enough time (pitt had a bye week to install it) to install a similar package for Tommy, but if so, I think it'd be a good move if that's something he ran at Gateway. If not, keep it simple. We're good enough to win without Pohl if we don't beat ourselves.
  17. They haven't let a win into that place in some time.
  18. UA 20 OU 13 I think the score will make the game look closer than it actually was. I wouldn't be surprised with a couple of dumb turnovers and empty red zone trips without Pohl.
  19. Keep in mind those numbers were at the Rubber Bowl and before on campus living doubled. I think UA would beat the 2000s numbers if they strung together some good seasons.
  20. They installed a lot of read-option over their bye week. I'd say 70% of his carries were read-option with Connor in the backfield. It was a nice game plan. Should have mixed in maybe one look to another WR but definitely a better game plan than against us. Not that I'm complaining.
  21. At least
  22. Sounds familiar. That's my argument for giving UA students better seats at the JAR. They're the future season ticket holders.
  23. Winning a soccer championship doesn't put butts in seats at a football game.
  24. Marketing was very good with Brad Swanson but he left for Illinois. I don't think they have a replacement yet.
